Delicious meal at family-run taverna on quiet street

I was touring Rethymno with a licensed guide who lives there and she recommended this place for a quiet but delicious meal away from the tourist trap restaurants on the main street. I had a really nice traditional baked vegetable dish and was served by a member of the family, who was very attentive and kind. They usually have specials and can often make things off-menu so please don’t hesitate to ask.

Pros: Great service , Delicious food , Inexpensive

Cons: Helps to have someone who speaks Greek if you don’
