Delish, vegan menu & staff knows vegan - Edit
Great selection of vegan dishes from a clearly marked vegan menu (titled Mother Earth Food). Staff knows what vegan means and are very attentive and friendly😄best stuffed vine leaves I had so far. To be honest, the prices for a busy place in the center of the old town are very reasonable.

Great location and tasty food - Edit
Nice staff, separate vegan selection in the menu and the outdoor area is really cute. We had 5 dishes all together and they were all very tasty but pricey.

Tasty food and lovely place - Edit
They have a separate vegan menu, the staff is very attentive and friendly, the food was very good and the presentation was different and beautiful. They brought a complimentary appetizer and fruit after dinner.

Lovely but a bit pricey - Edit
Vegan options are clear and staff knowledgeable. Lots of choice from starters to mains. The vegetable pasta was absolutely delicious and the portions are great.
Read moreIt is a bit more pricey due to being smack-bang in the middle of the tourist spot. Our lunch here was more expensive than places where we've had a full-blown dinner with LOADS of wine. That's why I'm knocking off a star, just for value.
Pros: Staff, Lots of options , Big portions
Cons: Higher than average prices

New tastes in nice environment - Edit
They seemed to not have the separate vegan menu anymore. We asked for it but the waiter then called his colleague and she told us what is vegan. We ordered the Fava bean/carrot puree, which was quite tasty, sautéed mushrooms (that even I liked, although I hate mushrooms!), Spinach pie and fennel pie (they were good but they both tasted the same) and mushroom Risotto. Everything was good and if this would have been an entirely vegan place or at least the items would have clearly been labeled, we would have given 4 stars.
Read moreWe also received a complimentary dessert which consisted of small tomatoes dipped in sugar juice.
If you are coming with kids, they have a separate room for the kids to play.
Pros: Inside and outside seating, Friendly staff, Tasty food
Cons: Items weren't labeled as vegan in the menu

Separate menu - Edit
Full vegan menu with traditional Cretan dishes. Took away any confusion and had loads of options. Also super friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Vegan menu - Edit
They have lots of Cretan traditional dishes that are vegan. We had wild greens, fennel pie and fave beans with bread. All delicious. Nice place to watch the world go by too. Good service and not rushed.

Good options for a mixed restaurant - Edit
I liked that the menu was separate, less confusing. Food was yummy. I wish they specified in the menu what was a starter size etc. Staff were a little off in the beginning but warmed after a while.

Tasty options! - Edit
The staff were very good here. Husband and I chose off the Mother Earth menu and had a super delicious fava bean dip. We also chose sautéed mushrooms..they were so so tasty, stuffed vine leaves, spinach pies and the grilled potatoes..everything was so tasty. I also had ordered the baked aubergine but was confident it had cheese in it so side stepped eating that ..this could’ve been an error somewhere along the line, as it was on the vegan menu so maybe I got the wrong version..but another of our group happily ate it up. Cocktails were great too.

Vegan options - Edit
Greek restaurant with a vegan ‘mother earth food’ page at the menu. We ordered the wine leaves, a salad, garlic bread and spaghetti. It was delicious! The spaghetti is very basic & the salad had too much vinegar. advice to go for the greek food, they have enough choises😄. You get a dessert from the house (not vegan) if you ask they can bring you fruit instead of sweet cakes etc.

'mother earth food' - Edit
This restaurant serves traditional Greek cuisine and had both a vegan menu as well as a vegan sharing menu, and I appreciate that. I had the vegan risotto, and it was decent.
