Such amazing ramen - Edit
We got the Vegan Beaning Ramen and it was absolutely incredible!! Love the vibe of the restaurant as well! It gets busy so you may have to wait until you can get a seat, but it's totally worth it!

Incredible vegan ramen - Edit
Some of the best ramen I’ve ever had, vegan or not. Must visit if you’re a ramen fan and vegan in Kyoto. Would give 5 stars for this dish alone if HC would let me.

Delicious vegan ramen! - Edit
There are two vegan ramens to choose from, both with soy milk bases - the difference is toppings/spice level. There’s also chilli gin & vinegar to season your meal. Really enjoyed this.

They have two vegan ramen options here. I had the zesty one, I wouldn’t say it was massively zesty but it was delicious.

The ramen here was the best. You have to wait outside with a number. You get inside but you can go shopping as the waiting time they are telling you is accurately.

Decent ramen, AMAZING soup dumplings - Edit
Got the beaning vegan ramen which was nice. Make sure to get the vegan soupy dumplings too - the broth is absolutely incredible and the gyozas are very flavourful.

如果逛街逛到忘記時間,才想起來要吃飯但忘記事先預約,可以來這家。 - Edit

Best Ramen in Kyoto - Edit
This was the best Ramen we had in Kyoto. The broth was so flavourfull, creamy and just delicious, I loved everything about it. They had a sign that they had to increase their prices but i thought that they were still cheap. You get a number and have to wait outside until they call your number, but we only waited for 10 minutes. Big recommendation, it was just great!

Delicious and accommodating - Edit
This restaurant is dedicated to serving traditional Japanese food to people with dietary restrictions - from vegetarians and vegans to celiacs and others. Each item is clearly labeled.
Read moreThere was a small line when we got there, but because the restaurant is big we were seated within 10min. We ended up sharing a table with other people, which was ok (it was a very spacious table).
As vegetarians we ordered the vegan zesty ramen. It is spicy, but you can order with less (I did so, and it was not spicy at all). We also ordered the vegan dumpling soup. Both the ramen and the soup were DELICIOUS, highly recommend getting both!
Pros: Vegan zesty ramen, Vegan dumpling soup

One of the best - Edit
This was one of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had! The broth was deliciously creamy with beautiful flavours. The restaurant is slightly bigger than a lot of ramen shops in Japan, giving it a nice friendly atmosphere. Easy to order in English and the service was great. I would have given 5 stars but HappyCow doesn't allow it for places that aren't exclusively vegan.

Probably the best ramen in Kyoto (and beyond!) - Edit
Tucked away in a hidden corner of Kyoto is possibly the BEST Ramen you will eat! Creamy, soupy, perfectly cooked noodles and the most amazing flavor! It has both vegan/veggie and meat options and both are exceptional. Will definitely come again! Highly highly recommend!

Best ramen in the world - Edit
Went here two nights in a row for the zesty vegan ramen. Another must try is the mandarin juice!! The wait seems daunting but isn’t too bad if you go a bit earlier in the night. For sure worth staying in line for.

Best vegan ramen that I've tasted. - Edit
I would give this 5 star but happy cow doesn't allow me as they also serve meat options.

Pros: Zesty Ramen for vegans tasted so good!, Service was amazing , Food came really quickly once we got in
Cons: The queue was nearly an hour

i wish i could have eaten at this place twice. if it opened earlier i would have definitely gone 2 other times 😂
Read morethere was a huge line before and after i left but it seemed like solo people were getting seated pretty fast. food came really fast too. they have 60 plus seats. really cool place and good vibes.
i got the vegan zesty ramen and soup dumplings. i asked them to make it more spicy and it was soooo good. they have chili gin on the table to try but i was not brave enough. it was pretty much perfect the way it was anyway. noodles were cooked perfectly and flavorful. broth was so creamy and the soup dumpling broth was also sooo good. reminiscent of miso soup with great depth of flavor. i liked the round dumplings best but both styles were great.
portion was also good. didn’t walk away hungry at all
best ramen i had in kyoto (but close second or a tie is at go macro)
highly recommended.

Very Good - Edit
I ate here twice but since tourism started again it’s a very long line everyday. I passed few times and couldn’t eat. The ramen is delicious but be careful if you haven’t time for a long line. Not many vegans ramen in Kyoto, I guess the line is normal.

Delicious broth but I wish it had some protein - Edit
The staff here were great for allergies- I got a coaster showing a gluten allergy for visibility to the staff. I had vegan ramen and the broth was delicious but there was no topping in place of the omnivores pork and egg, so was largely noodles with some corn I wish there was the option to have a couple of slices of tofu
