Best vegan ramen - Edit
We've gone here pretty much every time we've been in Kyoto.
Read moreThe broth is earthy, thick and flavorful, and everything inside it is top notch too.
It's very filling so I wouldn't recommend the big serving option unless you have a huge appetite.
There's only one option for vegans but it's so good that I don't mind at all.
Pros: Delicious, Price is reasonable
Cons: Can get a bit crowded

Delicious ramen - Edit
When you enter the restaurant to place an order you use a vending machine. I ordered the vegan curry gyoza here and some ramen. It was very delicious! I 100% recommend visiting this place if you get the chance! It is fairly expensive around 1000+ yen for dishes but worth every penny you pay.

You can't miss this place!!! - Edit
The best ramen I've ever had!!! They're creamy and full of flavour! I tried the beaning vegan ones and they were delicious! The vegan gyoza are deep fried, so a bit different from the traditional but really tasty! I definitely recommend to try this place, you won't regret it.

Great ramen - Edit
We had the two vegetarian ramen and they were really great. The staff is sensitive to allergies and is possible to remove a few ingredients as everything is fresh made.

5/5! - Edit
So good! 2 vegan ramen options, plus a vegan curry gyoza option! Staff were sooo friendly. I had the zesty vegan ramen and it was creamy and a lil spicy. Best ramen I’ve had, and the curry gyoza’s were delicious! The back of the menu has the ingredients in English so you know what you’re getting, and the vegan meals are clearly marked on the vending-machine ordering thing! I’ll be back! 😍

5 stars if I could! - Edit
Apparently this app won’t let me give this restaurant a 5 star because it’s not fully vegetarian, but I totally give it 5 stars. Fast, delicious, moderately priced! I tried the bean ramen and it was exactly what I wanted. Quite different from the ramen in the states, but very yummy,. The hostess also asked me if I had any allergies, because they offer gluten-free and soy-free noodles. Definitely will be coming back.

Best ramen in Kyoto! - Edit
I have come here multiple times with multiple people from a gluten free Italian to a meat eating Japanese native and everyone can agree that the ramen here is great, the veggie dumplings even better and the aprons they offer you to wear perhaps the best (when it comes to mildly embarrassing group photos that is!). They have two different vegan ramens (spicy and ‘beaning’) and one type of vegan dumplings, as well as some kind of jasmine tea in the water jugs. For vegans and gluten free people this is a must try.

Amazing😄 - Edit
Even though there were only two Ramen options they were both amazing and different flavours :). They also had dumplings which were incredible and best of all you order from a machine when you come in the door! 300 yen for dumplings and 1200 for each ramen. Great cost, great flavour!

This was pretty good vegan ramen. 2 vegan options to choose from. Opted for the gluten free soy noodles as well. You order at a machine inside. Nice and casual atmosphere.

Lovely place and staff, food was okay - Edit
The place is very easy to find and has a nice outside appearance.
Read moreInside everyone is seated on a long table which still offers room for some private conversations.
I personally liked the atmosphere a lot. They have a huge painting on the wall with japanese writing on it which looked really cool.
The staff were quite nice and even the cooks bowed and thanked you for coming when you left. The serving time was normal (not too long/not very fast).
You order at a machine; just insert the money and choose your meal. Give the received tickets to the staff and your order is on it’s way.
The ramen which we ordered looked really nice but sadly tasted kind of bland/not special. I wasn’t very pleased with the taste of the ramen to be honest but the dumplings were good!
I really wish I could give the place more starts but the food didn’t make it for me.
I also appreciated the aprons they provided very much as it can get messy when eating ramen 🙈
All in all great place but the food wasn’t for me, maybe it’s more to your liking?
