Vegan menu, different options

They got a selected side with vegan dishes (excepted the eggnoodles, don't know why they are listed). Had the fresh rolls (which are vegan, but on the normal menu), they were ok, no glasnoodles, mango or avocado. Just salat. But were made fresh and the sauce was yummy.

The main was good. Prices are ok.

Its a highly visited restaurant, many people come to take away.

Good vegan selection

There’s a specific vegan section of the menu with a fair few dishes on offer (although one seems to contain egg noodles). We went for the healthy rice & fried mixed veg with tofu, which came with rice. The food was fresh with an impressive selection of veg in the stir fry. We ate every bite and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Great noodles

I had noodles with rice and tofu and it was exactly what I wanted: lots of veg in there and a good variety of veg too. I also ordered spring rolls which were delicious. When we ordered a second portion of spring rolls the chef gave us an extra free spring roll, so sweet.

Pros: Separate section on menu with vegan options, Lovely staff

Decent Thai food

Really enjoyed the Thai red curry, great flavours and good portion size. Menu has a vegan section. Vegetable spring rolls are available which aren’t on the main menu.

Nice tasting food

Flavours were nice. Big rice portions but on the small side for asian people. Literally putting the pots and pans on the tables for cleaning. Side salad was disgusting. First time in my life that I rather would not eat the salad because it tasted like it was a week old, but unfortunately it mixed with the main food by itself.

Pros: 6 vegan main dishes and 1 starter, Medium size dish

Fresh and tasty

Never been to Thailand so don't know how authentic it is, but very tasty and lots of veggies, which was very nice. Waiting time was quite short. Only downside was that they were already cleaning while we were eating when they were open for at least apother hour

Pros: Fresh veggies

Cons: Not a lot of options, Staff was cleaning already while we were eating

Yummy Thai food, good portion size

This restaurant has 6 clearly labeled vegan entrées and an English/German menu. Also had some Thai beers to choose from. Our server was friendly and the portion sizes were good. We were 2 people sharing 3 dishes and were very full, 2 dishes would have been okay. We had the rice noodles with veggies, fried rice, and red curry dishes. I think spicy dishes are not the norm in Iceland, so all the dishes were very mild. There was a good amount of vegetables too! Would definitely recommend for vegans traveling through Akureyri.

Vegan options at one of the few Thai restaurants in the city (? or the only Thai restaurant in the city)

After a long day of touring, we were so happy to come across this Thai restaurant in Akureyri that was open late. Although this restaurant is not fully vegetarian/vegan, it has a separate section on their menu that lists several vegan options, including stir fried rice with vegetables and tofu and tofu and vegetables in green or red curry. We got the tofu and vegetables with red curry. They were also able to make my pad thai fully vegan without fish sauce. The food was delicious and authentic tasting, and the staff were very kind and accommodating! Prices were fair and similar to other restaurants in the area. I would recommend this place to vegans/vegetarians who are craving Thai food in a place where it can be hard to find!

Pros: Vegan options, Friendly staff
