Read moreKokolato has vegan gelato that's also non-GMO, organic, gluten-free, and fair trade when possible. What? And for sweetener, they use coconut sugar. The result is a smooth, delicious frozen dessert that is lightly sweet. What a perfect treat in this climate!
The friendly staff encourages you to try the flavors.
The Moringa Mint Chip and Rocky Road were especially yummy. Oh, and their cones are also gluten-free made of red or black rice.
No, these aren't cheap but they do use quality ingredients and you pay more for that anywhere.

Read moreWe had rocky road, smoky vanilla and chunky monkey. Each of us had two portions in a cone and we paid 120k rupiah, which is almost 8€! Even for European standards this is way too expensive.
The icecream was good, but I wouldn’t have it again - it wasn’t THAT special.

I've never eaten a better scoop of ice cream than here. Before ordering you can try every flavor. Every flavor was so good, but I chose Rocky Mountain and Chunky monkey. You can also get some red rice or black rice waffles or a cup for your scoops and add toppings.

Loved the fully vegan ice cream place that also had gluten free cones. They don’t have many flavour options but what they do have is very tasty. Really recommend the chocolate and the mint - really strong flavours! Nice to support a vegan business.

My kid's dreams came true at Kokolato. We're use to going into ice cream shops and if the kids are lucky they have a mango or lemon sorbet to choose from but at Kokolato everything is vegan. Any delish flavour they wanted was up for grabs, so naturally we all got two scoops! The coffee flavour was my favourite but I don't think you'll be disappointed with any of the choices.

Delicious. All vegan plus vegan and gluten free waffle cones. We had 2 scoops each. We tried Strawberry, vanilla and mint choice chip. All very good. Wish we found sooner.

The ice cream was yummy but there were “only” nine flavors. You had your traditional flavors (strawberry, vanilla, chocolate etc. ) and some new ones. You can also try everything before you order. Not the best ice cream we’ve had but still very good on a hot day

I think that the best thing about this place is the fact that they have vegan ice cream cones. I visited twice, the ice cream is good but not outstanding, it's not really creamy and you won't scream for more (which it's maybe a good thing after all ;-). It is indeed expensive, around 30.000 rupias a scoop. If you want to try more than one flavour you are already on the 60.000 rupias... Not really worth it for me but it's good to try it and can fulfill a craving. Friendly staff. It's supposedly very healthy as well!

This is a good option if you're raw but it's not the best ice cream. The coffee flavour I tried was good but it was more like a sorbet than an ice cream. It's nice to support a vegan business though!

personally didn't think it was worth what you paid for. one small scoop in a tiny waffle cone cost 40k. the waffle cone tasted like a regular cone/got soggy after a minute of the icecream to touching it. mint ice cream was good, but just not worth it.

Youve got 4 options but all the flavours are pretty awesome. however being on a budget i don't know if spending 30k on 1 scoop of ice-cream was worth it. I guess it was a nice rare treat as it is difficult to find vegan ice-cream usually.
