Cool place with nice options - Edit
I was expecting a traditional Italian restaurant but the decor is 100% about surf which was cool.

Food was good but a bit expensive. Still super cool to find a place where you can add some vegan cheese on pizza and pasta.
Charging 1€ for vegan milk on the beverages is a bit too much though!

So it’s 17€ for a normal sized pizza.

Fair amount of choice and a good option when dining with meat eaters. I had the arrabbiata pasta which was lovely. More pricey than some other restaurants in the area but still not expensive.

Open in June 2023 (not sure why it says temporarily closed). Had a vegan gnocchi arrabiata and my friend had a vegan gluten-free pizza. Delish!

The vegan cheese they use is not that tasty. the crust of the pizza was really nice and crispy, but the cheese dominated so much that I could barely taste the (very thin!) slices of veggies (barely any veggies!) Relatively pricy for Portugese standards.

April 2023: KISA is definitely open. We were there in May 2022, when I first reviewed them, and just are their tonight (06 April 2023). The server was vegan and helped ensure that our dishes were vegan. They adapted the garlic bread for us to use just olive oil and garlic with no butter and it was wonderful. As they did last year, they built us a wonderful and varied salad, and we again had pasta with a lovely piri piri sauce. They have other vegan options available as well. Talk to your server and you'll be fine.

Had the vegetarian with vegan cheese at Kisa. I should have had read the reviews before going there. Price for the pizza was €12,30. The bottom looked more like a tortilla, not many vegetables on top and the amount of vegan cheese was to much.

The staff members were very friendly. The place has a good number of vegan (or to be made vegan) as well as gluten free options. They accept debit cards. The food itself was not great, it was eatable so I almost finished my pizza but it was probably the worst pizza I have ever had. The vegan cheese did not melt and there was too much of the tomato sauce which tasted like a cheap tomato concentrate.

Small amount of the menu is vegan but most easily adapted with vegan cheese on offer. I had the vegan bowl and it was simple and delicious - black rice, onions, tomatoes, chickpeas and avocado. Sorry I didn’t take a photo!

A helpful sign outside advertising vegan cheese drew us in and we were so happy we ate here. Great service, very clear about which pizzas were vegan and reading the order back to us. Super tasty food and lovely atmosphere with a band playing outside!!
