Very friendly!

We were chuffed to find somewhere open for walk ins, especially pretty late on a Monday night, in summer, in the time of COVID! Couple of vegan options, a mushroom Wellington or cauliflower buffalo bites, which we had in the main size. Too full to explore puddings unfortunately!

Very accommodating

Mostly meat dishes here, vegan main was Mushroom Wellington, personally hate mushrooms so I asked if there was anything else they could rustle up for me, they made a tomato and basil linguine which was delicious. Spoilt for choice on desserts as well so a win in my book! (also very dog friendly!)

Still a good selection

Had a really nice dinner. Menu had halloumi burger and veggie Wellington, but I went for the soup of the day and one of the two salad mains. Tasty and reasonably priced in a region where pub food is usually of the veg burger/mac’n’cheese variety.

Pros: Several options for vegetarians, Fresh and tasty

Cons: Only one vegan main

Solid pub grub

FM visited in the first week that restaurants were reopening in Cornwall so the menu was highly reduced.

Still going strong was the mushroom wellington which was a very good vegan pub offer.

Otherwise a solid pub but not outstanding.

Pros: Nice mushroom wellington

Great options for vegans and vegetarians

Great pub for vegans. Plenty of options. We had mushroom wellington and baked sweet potato and chickpeas, both very tasty and good portion size. Staff very friendly and dog friendly. Would recommend and come back again :)

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Dog friendly , Good portion size

Extensive vegan menu

A lovely pub in the square in St Just, a separate vegan and vegetarian menu with lots to choose from. We had the mushroom and cashew wellington, with root vegetables and red wine gravy followed by raspberry chocolate truffle dessert which was delicious. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Very dog friendly offering water, blankets and an ‘a la bark’ menu (not vegan).

Pros: Good value, Good portion size, Outside seating

Vegan options available!

Nice pub, I took the vegan wellington and was tasty however the portion was literally 2 cm long... not worth the price

Pros: Few vegan options, nice food

Cons: Really small portion

Lovely Vegan friendly pub

I had the pleasure of attending The King Arms first Vegan night - a full vegan menu of 3 starters 3 mains and 3 deserts (see pic) - The Chef Ben was very strict on the night not to serve meat dishes but encouraged people to try vegan - the food was very yummy, i had Mushroom falafels as a starter (big enough as a main) served with 3 dips and a salad. For the main i had Portobello mushroom with a wild mushroom filling topped with vegan cheese served with a sprouting salad and for the desert Chocolate Brownie with ice cream - which was of the brownie scale i can tell ya all for £20. Vegan night is every Thursday and the normal daily menu has vegan options. If you in Cornwall this is a must highly recommended.

Pros: Vegan Menu, friendly hospitality , Lovely old warm Cornish pub

Cons: i could only give 4 stars as the system allows

Welcoming pub

Vegan items labelled on the menu. The chickpea, sweetcorn and courgette fritters were delicious and the avocado and tenderstem broccoli salad was interesting and a generous sized. We couldn’t manage dessert but the vegan chocolate dessert sounded good.
Bar and waiting staff were friendly and helpful.
Located on the square in the centre of St Just (bus stop nearby), close to Cape Cornwall and Botallack/Levant (Poldark country!)

Pros: Friendly atmosphere, Delicious vegan options, Location

Cons: Not all veg*an
