It was okay

I had the Veggie Shawarma with rice. It was only okay. Based on the other reviews, I probably should have ordered a different dish. I found the side salad to be much better. The staff were great and helpful when ordering Vegan, so 3.5 stars because of the service.

I like the lemon tang in my dish and i appreciated the vegetables and greens. They could use more vegan options.

Pros: Multiple options are vegan can be made vegan., Dark greens in the salad. , Lots of vegetables in the dish.

Cons: Could use more options., A little too much salt. Just a little.

Cannot say enough about the Combination Scabeg

I love the vegan options at this Fairmount neighborhood landmark. As noted, we love the combination scabeg (request no feta on the side salad), but also really enjoy the macaroni without cheese, the falafel, and the dolmas without the feta. During the pandemic, I am also very supportive of their decision to close their dining room and do takeout only to keep everyone safe. Love this place!

Pros: Delicious vegan options COMBINATION SCABEG, Friendly staff and ownership

Several good vegan options

Came to attend a lunch meeting and was happy to see there are several vegan options. I opted for the falafel salad, which was quite tasty and satisfying yet light, with the falafel itself being not too oily.

Service was cheerful and helpful.

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: Serves meat

Falafel!

This place was so good! We had the eggplant dip and I had the falafel. My family had shrimp kabob and gyros. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this place. Price was reasonable and the atmosphere was quiet and quaint. Will definitely be returning soon!

Pros: falafel delish, reasonable prices

Cons: SLIGHTLY spicy eggplant -- don't know if that's ev
