Clearly a tourist minded spot, but considering that’s what I am it works for me. English menu with vegetarian specific section, from there some common sense and chat with waiter and you should be fine for vegan. Finally able to get a plov I could eat and was fine. Ambience a bit dead but would eat here again.

'vegetarian' label used but not understood - Edit
The menu labeled a meal as vegetarian, but they clearly don't understand the term. There was meat on top of the green noodles. Also, a dairy sauce comes in an extra container. The eggplant salat was however very good. You would really have to specify what you don't want in your food when ordering.

Okay food but not the best option in town - Edit
Restaurant recently changed owner. We had the vegetarien Plov which has an egg on top and the grilled vegetables with rice.
Read moreIt was okay, the day after we had a much better vegetarian plov that was really vegan at the Teressa cafe.
The restaurant has a nice out door terras and the indoor setting is nice too.

Food was very good and the waiter was friendly! I had the vegetarian plov but it comes with an egg so if you're vegan you have to specify this. I also had a salad that normally contains meat but I asked if I could get it without the beef and is was nice (did contain cheese but they also have vegan salads)!

Some vegetable options in khiva - Edit
I went twice as the service was fast and it was never too crowded. Had vegetables with rice and the vegan version of plov, the national dish. It came with carrots, raisins, onions, pumpkin (?) And potatoes. Nothing special but it was good to have this options
