Abbastanza disponibili

Ok restaurant, few vegan options

The restaurant is alright, a typical Uzbek touristic one. They have a lot of salads, manti and gumma that are vegan. Taste is good, prices are higher then average.

Pros: They have vegan options

Vegan shivit oshi!

I encountered this place because i booked a "bread making master class" that i found on the internet which was actually really scammy in the end (just don't do it).

Regardless, I stayed for lunch. They don't have many vegan options. Their breads are not vegan, neither are their manti. BUT definitely come here for the dill noodles, which area delicacy of Khiva. You will have to wait awhile while they make a fresh batch without egg but it's quite the unique dish to try!

Most of their soups can be made without cream and their eggplant salad was also delicious.

Very limited vegan options but speak English

I asked for vegan options and was suggested plain rice and French fries.

The dild pasta has egg, the manti and other dumpling looking things have egg or milk/butter.

I appreciated their honesty though. I ended up with a eggplants salad (and some other grilled vegetables) and lentil soup (maybe it was butter, I might not have asked enough about that one).

Prices are fair and they don’t add 15% for service as seen in many places.

I give it 3 stars as it is nothing amazing for vegans, but it is pretty good for the local standards.

Pros: Vegan options (not many), Plenty of vegetarian options , Waiter knows what ingredients are in the dishes

Cons: Limited selection for vegan

Veggie option in Khiva

Although in Khiva I found more restaurants without fish or meat than in Samarkand, this was a lovely one.
The staff was so nice and understands the meaning of vegetarian/vegan.
I had some spaggettis made of vegetables (forgot which one 😅). It comes with meat as a topping but it can be removed.
They also have a salad menu (the one with roasted eggplant is so tasty!)

Pros: Understanding of vegetarian concept

Cons: Just 3 or 4 vegetarian mains
