Great burgers

We have been in Taiwan for a while and we were craving for some burgers. We found this option near Shida market. The staff was really friendly and spoke English. My burguer was really good I added vegan bacon and the fries were excelent.

Pros: Vegan options and kind staff, Beers and cocktails

Cons: A little expensive but was worthy

Cute place and nice atmosphere

Lots of vegan options but the burger I had was pretty average. Overall I would return but I'm in no rush

Great food, terrible service

Warning, always check your burger and receipt, especially when ordering to go, as they mess up orders in some new and exciting way almost every time.
The food is great, once you actually get what you ordered, though.

A full page of the menu lists all the vegan options (about seven burgers all with the same black been cashew patty), and another full page lists all of the vegetarian options (including the ones listed on the vegan page, as vegetarians have choice of two patties; the vegan one and a vegetarian walnut one)
The fries are nice, although sometimes a little too crispy for my taste.
If you're OK with dairy, the milkshakes are awesome.

Daily specials and lunch specials.

Pros: Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, Clearly labelled menu, Daily specials and lunch specials

Cons: Almost always mess up the order in some way.

Did not taste good and is very expensive

I seriously hate to say that the burger that I got was one of the worst meals that I’ve had in a very long time. I got a vegan avocado burger with fake bacon and a side salad. They have so many vegan and vegetarian options on the menu that it’s insane, so they really are trying hard to be able to serve vegans and vegetarians well. I’m definitely not a picky eater, but the patty tasted like charcoal and the fake bacon was limp and tasted like burnt rubber. It was very bizarre. The salad was simple but tasted like grass. I am very sad I didn’t like this place :(. My boyfriend had an ok regular burger though and his fries were ridiculously tasty! Also this place was insanely expensive for the portion and quality of the meal, as mine alone, with no drink (just burger and salad), was around 500 (almost $17).

Hi, that price is impossible - the price is 290 with 10% service charge if you eat instore - not 500.

The patty is black bean & cashew & a bit spicy.
I can understand if it got burnt - as mistakes happen. We would've happily made you a new one or refunded your money. My kitchen staff have been with me for a long time (2 for 11 years & 1 for 5 years) so they're usually excellent.

Me gusto mucho.

Pros: Many vegan options.

Cons: Si garantizaran que esa carne vegetal es sana

Great food

Had vegetarian cheese-burger, with added vegan bacon and caramelized onions, fries, refillable soda, and a caramel brownie with ice cream (I took my time was a lot of food). I really enjoyed my food, I thought the patty was good, caramelized onions were delish although I thought they could have put more on. 450ntd with service charge @10%. Really enjoyed the food and knew it was a little pricier, which I think is fair. Great service too and really good English (English menu as well)

Pros: Lots of options either vegetarian/vegan, Refillable soda

Cons: Pricier

great place and good food & drinks!

I greatly enjoyed visiting this place. The beer and cider excellent. I recommend 'The Tower' vegan burger. The patty with black beans on the other vegan burgers was not good at all. I hope they change it. Very friendly and helpful staff, great decorations!

Pros: vegan menue, great beer choice

Cons: fair pricing

Small portions big prices

I’ve been several times, once as a vegan, but my thoughts on the prices and portion sizes remain the same. Much better places to get a tasty vegan burger in town. Was super turned off when I asked if I could sub avocado for the cheese on my salad but was told they’d charge me 50nt when other shops do that at no charge. Probably wouldn’t go back.

Cons: Expensive , Unfriendly staff

Hi, sorry we can't sub avocado for the grated cheese on the salad. The cost difference between the two is huge (prob around 5-6x the cost).
It's good cheese but fresh avocado & grated cheese don';t compare in cost.
We only use fresh imported avocados (from NZ or Haas) & they're expensive with a 20% wastage cost when you add the weight of the skin, stone & the % that are usable.
Taiwan Avocado or "avocado/guac" from a package are a lot cheaper but still much more expensive that the amount of grated cheese we put on our salads.
