Handrolls and seaweed salad also available. Relocated from 9550 Bolsa Ave. Open Wed-Thu 11:00am-9:00pm, Fri-Sat 11:00am-10:00pm, Sun 11:00am-9:00pm.

A bit saucy - Edit
Came here for dinner. I think they’re under renovation as the place seemed a bit empty. Hopefully they’ll be done soon.
Read moreWe got the seared salmon nigiri, caterpillar roll, spider rolls, I Lava you roll, and spicy tuna roll. Our favorites were the salmon nigiri, spider roll and the spicy tuna. The I lava roll was very decadent, but maybe a bit too heavy on the Mayo. The caterpillar was a bit salty, maybe it was the shiitake filling but also the unagi sauce again.
I would come here again but ask for less sauce on the rolls. Maybe we’ll try the ramen and dessert next time.

I’ll be honest, you may think I’m joking…but I’m not. Other than it being amazing because it’s free of animals it is literally the best sushi I have ever had. I gorge when I go there lol. The staff is so friendly too! #Veganuary

Three rolls - Ninja, Spider, and the Yoga Fire Roll. All three of these were FIRE.
Read moreNinja was a standout with its shrimp tempura, unagi style sauce. It was a combination of familiar flavors and textures. Spider gave us a good crunch and the Yoga Fire had me with its incredible spicy tuna on top. Everything was delicious and inventive, leaving your eyes and mouth satisfied.
Thank you Kenshō for the amazing vegan sushi experience and I hope I get to return to have more of you soon.

A great find! So yummy. I really enjoyed the Yoga Fire and Soicy Tofu rolls. The Yoga Fire roll had a nice tempura crunch! I will definitely be back again.

We were craving noodles or Sushi and decided on Kensho. We each got a ramen. We shared the Gyoza, seaweed salad, salmon and spam Nigiri, crunchy Cali roll. For dessert we had Machi ice cream. We found everything to be delicious. The ramen was to spicy for her but she has zero tolerance for spice. I didn't taste any heat, but I have high tolerance to spice. Our server was amazing. We would definitely come back.

Read moreI have been excited to come here for months and finally did. We saw online that the Yorba Linda location was closed so came to the Westminster location.
The restaurant looks a bit make shift, like there's plywood as a divider at the front and the host stand is as well.
There aren't many seating options aside from the bar. We had two larger parties come in while my husband and I were trying to enjoy an early dinner around 4pm. Our server barely checked in with us, took over 15 minutes for us to get our water let alone get a refill at some point. Overall our server had almost no kindness in his approach to us.
When a large party was sat next to us we heard their server mention that orders may be delayed as they were dealing with a lot of to-go orders (we figured as much since we had been waiting a very long time). There were to-go orders being put out like no one's business, but orders in house were taking well over 35 minutes for even appetizers.
We wanted to order more food but chose not to because of how long it took/ our server rushed us out the door "do you want the check?", never asked us how we were, nothing.
It was some of the worst service we've experienced in a long time. The food was pretty decent, even though my roll was falling apart.
The bathroom was completely disgusting, that alone was terrifying!
We'll be waiting to come back for when everyone can get their act together. It felt like teenagers were calling the shots, no friendliness and general cold vibe. The chefs behind the counter shouldn't be at fault here though. Super disappointed.

I have been waiting so long to come here! And it did not disappoint! Amazing rolls and sides as well. I placed an order online and it was really on time and correctly. This is a trailblazer vegan sushi spot and I hope their business grows for many years to come.

Got the gyoza, tantanmen, yoga fire and I lava you. The ramen and yoga fire were good but definitely nothing out of the ordinary. Gyoza was the only thing I wouldn't order again - they weren't bad but not great either. The I lava you was so good possible the best vegan sushi I've had..(with the exception of shizen in sf)

My friend and I both got the crunchy roll. I was a fan and ate all of mine. Gotta be honest, my non-veg friend hated hers and couldn’t get past the first two pieces. Different opinions! I’d go back when I’m in the area for sure, my friend no so much.

This restaurant never disappoints. It is also very affordable vegan sushi. The presentation is fantastic, and everything tastes good! They are also very accommodating if you are gluten-free, and they can make many of the dishes gluten-free if you ask about it (even if it does not say "gluten-free available" on it).

Food is always good, price is reasonable compare to the taste. Hard to try other sushi, when Kensho’s sushi is sooooooooo delicious. Kensho is the standard I use when I try new sushi spot to compare.

AMAZING Vegan Sushi 😍🤤 - Edit
I haven't had sushi since I became vegan over three years ago, so I was really looking forward to trying out Kensho on our trip to Huntington Beach. Needless to say, it did not disappoint! We went for my birthday dinner and I was absolutely in heaven! I was honestly shocked how good the sushi was, it was better than the non-vegan sushi I've had in the past. Everything we ordered was incredible, but the Cruncy Cali Rolls and the Ninja Rolls were definitely stand outs. Sooo good!! 🤤 I'm sad there isn't a place like this in Colorado, but if there was I would probably go broke eating there over and over lol. On top of the food, the staff was very friendly and our server was very attentive. The interior and decor isn't much to look at, but don't be thrown off, the food absolutely makes up for it! Try this place now! You won't regret it! If I could give it more than five stars I totally would! 😁

Yum! Vegan sushi can usually never go wrong. Sushi is my favorite food, and I have had lots of vegan sushi so I am pretty picky. This isn’t my favorite vegan sushi, or even in my top list, however, that doesn’t mean this isn’t good stuff! I loved they offered miso soup. Give this place a try!

Been here so many times and three times I’ve experience either long wait time and other times delays on cook. They need to get a little better at providing good and faster service having to wait 1 hour for three orders is hectic. Overall the employees are friendly they make me feel very welcome. Be back soon for more :)
