Hidden Gem

This hidden away restaurant offers a good vibe and good vegan food. A bit limited on the drinks front. But otherwise, BYO and enjoy. The service can be a bit random - if you order what you think is entree - it'll come out with the mains. It doesn't matter at the end.

Pros: Good food, Good value, Nice vibe

Cons: Service a bit random., Limited and unhealthy drinks options.

So good! Blown away!

We had such a great experience at Karuna. The whole place has a really relaxed and friendly vibe. The staff are so kind and accomodating. To get to the actual restaurant you go down a pathway to the right of the office reception. It was a little confusing but we got there and it was really lovely wandering through the gardens there. The food was incredible and we left feeling nourished and content. Highly recommend the soy salad. I was a little thrown off by the fresh pineapple but it was so delicious. Make sure you book as they were turning people away who hadn’t. Great to see they were so busy!

Pros: Completely vegan menu, Well priced, Delicious menu

Great Atmosphere

Great Atmosphere, located towards the back of the temple. The food is cheap and very filling (be warned just because it is cheap doesnt mean the portions are small!). Very delicious.

Pros: Vegan

Little Vietnam

A wonderful surprise. If there was a bit of sewerage funk you could imagine yourself in Vietnam

Small menu, freshly made

Nice small restaurant with a small menu. Some mock meat, some dishes without though. Desserts are very nice. Service was quick and friendly. And it is very cheap. Will definitely be back.

Small but Delicious Menu

This quaint little place exceeded my expectations!

The location can be a little hard to find; they have a sign on the road, the temple it is attached to is in disrepair at the moment so it looks a little sparse on the outside. Drive down the little alley past the first carpark and keep going until you see the building labelled 'c' at the end of the drive; the restaurant has a lovely little courtyard out the front.

The food is fresh and not too heavy. There aren't many items on the menu but the ones we've had have been great.
Love the 'pork' with ribs vermicelli. The vegetable curry was good as was the stir fry, the curry puffs are delicious, and the coconut jelly is refreshing.
It can take a little while for food when it's busy but that just gives you time to stop and relax a bit.

The servers were polite and helpful. We've been back a few times and it's been a consistently good experience! They're open Fri, Sat and Sun.

Pros: All vegetarian. Lovely setting. Inexpensive

Cons: Little hard to find, Smaller menu (but dishes are done well I think)
