A MUST VISIT if you’re in Canberra! - Edit
Utopia vegan exceeded all my expectations and is easily one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve been to! They have a great range of veggie, tofu and faux meat options (the faux meat is delicious and cooked to crispy perfection). We got the spare ribs and Hokkein noodles, which were sooo yummy. 10/10 restaurant!

Microwaved food - Edit
We just ordered takeaway. It came out shockingly quick. Then we tasted it and it was dry & microwaved which explained why it was so quick. Disappointing. It was late though so maybe they were about to close.

Nice food - Edit
We Had the spring rolls, dumplings, satay tofu and vegetables, and fried rice. Overall it was pretty nice. Our favourite was the satay tofu and vegetables. We don’t really do faux meat, and this restaurant had a lot of meat substitutes on their menu. Having said that, there were enough choices for us. I would go back for the satay dish.

Amazing vegan restaurant, lots of delicious options. We visit it every week and it never disappoints. The laksa is amazing and all other dishes we have tried, like tofu hot pot, soy meat hot plates, spare ribs, lemongrass chicken, mushroom fritters. Very nice and cosy place, friendly staff and great service.

Delicious all vegan - Edit
We got takeaway several times from Utopia recently and I highly recommend them. The serves were generous and the food delicious.
Read moreThe eggplant hot pot is a favourite of mine, with plenty of tender eggplant in a delicious sauce. I also particularly like the sweet and sour dishes, which are a Vietnamese style that I prefer to the Aussie-Chinese restaurant sweet and sour. Other excellent choices are the soups - we've had yellow noodle laksa, duck yellow noodle soup and the pho. All are big serves, with mock meats, tofu and vegetables.
The chef is very accommodating if you ask for modifications (e.g. no onion) and the owner has been dedicated to serving the vegan and vegetarian community for decades.

Delishishness 😍 - Edit
Hand's down the best Laksa I've had outside of Malaysia 😍
Read moreStarted with the crunchy wontons - 6/10
They were good but the wrapper was ever so slightly powdery, the sauce is excellent though.
Next was the yellow noodle Laksa and oh my! 10/10.
The seasoning was perfection (sometimes with the use of mock meat, the dish can come out super salty). The spice was just right and the serving size is huge value for money. There was legitimately a full litre of soup in the bowl.
Finished up with the deep fried ice cream and maple syrup 😋
Will definitely be back!
