„Veganism is world peace” - Edit
The title is a quote of The owner words. I had the best soup in my life, and came back for pad thai the day after which again… was so tasty. You feel so much love in this meals. I will come back! Beside tasty food, nice thing is also chatting with the owner who run few vegan projects and try to make it big in Laos! Reccomend a lot!

DO NOT MISS!!! - Edit
Omg!!!! This is the BEST food I've had in Laos!! You HAVE to go here when you're in Vang Vieng. My biggest regret is not going here sooner to try all the dishes. I had the laab sandwich and it was huge, I did not expect that based on the pictures! It doesn't look that photogenic but it was absolutely delicious!! My partner took the burger which was also soooo good. We both took a mixed fruit shake, I could have drunk two because it was so tasty. The owner is really nice and comes over for a chat with everyone, without being pushy or making you feel uncomfortable.
Read moreSmall points of improvement according to our taste: sandwich could have been a little more spicy (but it was still delicious), burger bun could be a bit less sweet/more salty :).

Must visit - Edit
You should definitely go here when in VV. The Larb sandwich (40K) and the green curry (50K)are absolutely delicious. It does come with a waiting time, but that's because everything is prepared from scratch, all fresh. It's SO worth it tho!!

Good food; be prepared to wait. - Edit
I wish I had found this place earlier. It's the only place in Vang Vieng that properly understands what vegetarian/vegan means.
Read moreI tried the Larb (mock meat salad) Baguette that everyone raves about - yes, it's good, .but you also have to wait a long time, even when there aren't many customers. So come prepared. I also had a coconut smoothie before my food and a mango smoothie after - both were good, came in glasses without straws (no plastic!), and the menu notes they don't add sugar (hooray!)
They had a couple of kittens running around, and resting on a jacket, in a box. 🐈
Recommend 👍🏻👍🏻
Pros: Only vegan place in Vang Vieng , Tasty, and pricing is reasonable , The owner speaks English well
Cons: Slow - food takes a long time , Traffic noise directly in front

Best vegan food in Vang Vieng - Edit
It seems to be the only vegan restaurant in Vang Vieng. We went twice and enjoyed every dish we ordered. Food was fresh and tasty. We tried larp, suki soup, salad and the burger, all delicious. Big portions and not expensive. A must try if you are in Vang Vieng!

Amazing!! - Edit
This place is great, there is something for everybody on the menu and you can see that so much love is put into the food. We went three times and tried the larp sandwich, tofu sandwich, pad Thai, green curry, noodle soup and burger, everything was amazing - the burgers were a highlight! This place is a must visit if you’re in Vang Vieng! 🌱

Good food slow service - Edit
It's the only vegan place in vang vieng as far as I am aware so give it some love. I think it has struggled a bit post covid and in a location that doesn't attract foot traffic/passer-bys. Food is fresh delicious and cheap. My only criticism would be time it takes for food to come out (30 to 40 minutes), but everything seems to be prepared from scratch.

Must-visit in Vang Vieng! - Edit
This place is a must-visit in Vang Vieng. Totally vegan, reasonably priced and absolutely delicious, the host (Sengkeo) is one of the nicest blokes in Asia (great for a chat) and the whole experience is awesome. The fruit shakes, green curry, and Larp sandwich (secret menu item) are all unreal. You can also refill your bottle with filtered water for 2000 kip which is cheaper than a new bottle and saves plastic! Cannot recommend this place enough 😍

So yummy, all vegan. The owner is so friendly. Order the Laap with a baguette for an amazing lunch. We also had the Pad Thai, sweet and sour and fried mushrooms another day. Really recommend this place. The lady also sells homemade chilli paste if you need some to carry around for flavouring!

Amazing local vegan food! - Edit
This restaurant was incredible. 8 of us went from our hostel, 3 vegans who’ve been struggling trying to find food since we’ve been in Laos. This place was incredible. The food was delicious. The owner was so friendly and really fun to talk to. Him and his wife are vegan and they’re the only place in Vang Vieng that are 100% vegan. The owner told us that since covid, business has been really slow and almost non existent. The restaurant is 10 minutes out of town so a lot of people don’t bother coming out. It’s really worth it and it makes the owners day. Please come here if you’re in town. The food and service was top tier!

Tasty food in family run vegan restaurant - Edit
Clean and simple setting. Kapphet cooked me the fried basil and the larp - both of whoch were delicious. They pick fresh herbs from the garden and don't use herbicides. Food can take a little time but is well worth the wait. Had a great chat with Sengkeo about veganism globally. He speaks excellent english. Note I asked him and can confirm they are fully vegan. No fish sauce is used. Things are slow in vang vieng as tourism slowly opens up and I think ethical little eateries like this need our support. If they are not there, call out or message ahead of time on whats app 856 20 9194 9923. Mains around 30k kip, smaller plates 20-25k.

Not fully vegan :( - Edit
Just when you think you’re safe from the omnipresent fish sauce!
Read moreThe restaurant looked half closed when we arrived - no other customers, an empty drinks fridge, no music and nobody around. But after we called out a lady appeared from the back.
We ordered larp, papaya salad and pineapple shakes (asked for no milk just in case). The food took a while but we could see the lady preparing everything behind the counter and picking fresh herbs & chillies from the garden, and we didn’t mind the wait.
The larp was really tasty and redeemed this place somewhat - tofu with sprouts, green onion, some noodley looking things and loads of fresh herbs. But unfortunately the papaya salad - there it was - that strong funky flavour of fish sauce. Disappointing when we thought this was a vegan restaurant.
I still gave 3 stars because, well it’s Laos and unfortunately these things happen. And the larp was really good, just a shame about the fishy papaya salad. I would probably give this place another chance, just order with the same precaution I do at regular restaurants - check for no fish sauce, etc.
Pros: cheap food (mains 15-20k), larp and shakes were nice
Cons: fish sauce!, not fully vegan despite having it in the name, weird empty restaurant

100% vegan - Edit
The food was okay. The Pad Thai we had were just noodles without any tofu, carrots or veggies. The noodle soup was okay but also not much ingredients. We had to search for someone because there was no one around when we arrived. The guy we've found shouted very mean at a lady serving us. The lady serving us didn't looked happy. Seems some kind of sad. I hope they can improve there food and service. Would really like to love this place but it was not a nice experience.

Weird atmosphere, cold food - Edit
I really wanted to like this place as it’s the only 100% vegan place in town. When we arrived the man and women working there were shouting at each other and didn’t seem phased by the fact there was a few customers there. The man seemed pretty annoyed they even had any customers. Was pretty awkward but we brushed it aside as it is Laos after all. We ordered a pad Thai each and it took nearly an hour to come, when it did it was just rice noodles with a couple of bean sprouts on top... not sure if that’s how it normally comes or they’d ran out ingredients. Also it was cold. The worst pad Thai I’ve had in Asia unfortunately. Very strange but luckily it only cost 15k.

Wasn’t blown away by anything. Green curry was fine. Papaya salad had no flavor and barely any ingredients. Nice to have a vegan option, but there is another place down the road that we’ll go to instead.

Fine - Edit
Had rice noodle soup, curry, papaya salad, and a banana shake. The rice noodle soup was decent but not very flavorful, wouldn't get it again. Curry doesn't come with rice which is an extra 10000 (so 30000 total). The curry was good but I preferred the curry at Veggie Tables up the road, which is just a little more expensive (35000). Papaya salad was pretty meh. It's literally just spicy shredded papaya and tomato. No green bean, carrot, peanuts, the usual in a papaya salad. Banana shake was also pretty meh. Super watery. The prices are good though 🤷🏼♀️ One of the more underwhelming meals I've had in the last 4 months in SE Asia.
