Just great - Edit
They have a big selection of different pizzas - the two we tried were amazing!! Probably one of the best pizzas we have ever had😄The owners were really nice too. If you are in San Jose you can not miss this place.

Excellent pizzas - Edit
Tied for first place for the best vegan pizza I've ever had. Maybe even pizza in general. Super super good. They have limited seating and gave me a free croissant because I had to wait. Well worth. So friendly.

Seriously delicious pizza, friendly owner - Edit
My hungry family of 3 shared 2 seriously delicious pizzas (14" each), and we walked away very full and very happy. We used to own a vegan pizzeria, so we can be a little snooty about pizza, but this pizza was GREAT. The really nice owner told us they make the vegan cheese themselves (yum). He was so kind to my kiddo, letting her pick out a sticker and even giving her a chocolate croissant when we left.

The pizza is definitely inside the Kàl Awá vegan bodega, so if Happy Cow still shows another location, ignore it and go to Kàl Awá.
Pros: Super-yummy vegan pizza, Super-friendly owner, Good prices, and inside a vegan store
Cons: Not much seating

Absolutely delicious - Edit
We came in around noon, and the owner told us that the pizza oven was still heating up and that it would take a while which was fine with us. Nevertheless we got some garlic bread and marinara on the house as an 'apology'. Terrific service! The pizza itself was easily in my top 3 pizzas ever. Thin and crusty with the perfect amount of toppings. We tried the one with spicy 'chorizo' / caramelized onions and the one with pesto and mushrooms. Both heavily recommended!

Amazing pizza and ethical shop - Edit
We found this place online and were super excited to go to a fully vegan place instead of vegan options. The location is nice with cute private dining areas. The shop carries a really nicely curated selection of vegan foods and products. I bought some gifts to bring back home. We got the pizza, nachos and drinks. Everything was great but the pizza in particular was very good. It was super thin and crispy with a nice chewy crust. Great toppings and very flavorful. The cheese was nicely melted. We also got the banana bar which was like a banana bread blondie, very sweet and satisfying. Great ethical place, hopefully more places like it to come in San Jose.

excellent vegan Pizza - Edit
It is a small store that also sells bread and pizza. We had the Ninja Pizza and the American Dream. The pizzas were excellent, although a little pricy (all between 6 and 8k)

Pizza! - Edit
I went to the store to look for some tofu (which they don't have), but they do have seitan, vegan ham, facon, mayo, sausages, baked goods, and household and personal care products. They also have a variety of nuts, seeds, herbs and spices, beans, textured soy, and more for which you can bring your own containers or bags and buy what you need. While I was chatting to the owner (I think -- who also speaks fluent English), I saw a food menu on the counter and discovered they do pizza and sandwiches! This part of the store is called 'Errante'. I ordered a pizza to go called 'American Dream' which has seitan and BBQ sauce on it. The pizza base is thin and one of the best crusts I've had in awhile. Will definitely be back!
