This is the place to go for fast food dishes you are missing, like nachos! The food is tasty, although sometimes a bit greasy, but that is to be expected. The owner lady is so sweet and she can speak English too, I am happy to support her because the restaurant is usually not full. Be careful when ordering (particularly the daily specials), because they are not necessarily vegan, so make sure you ask to confirm. They do have vegan chocolate cake and cookies at the front counter!

Nice little spot near the University - Edit
We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon snack and cerveza at this cute little outdoor cafe. The waitstaff is super nice which made for a fantastic experience. Since we’d only recently finished lunch, we couldn’t try too many things but the spicy pickled vegetables including broccoli, carrots, green beans, cauliflower and peppers were a yummy light snack. We also enjoyed some excellent, fresh guacamole, chili and chips. Definitely have to come back when we’re hungrier because they had a beautiful chocolate cake that caught my eye.

They focus mainly on burgers, empanadas and fried dishes. We tried the bean burger, which was really good! It had yuka chips and avocado, you can also choose if you want fries or a salad with.
Read moreWe also ordered a pasta dish, what to be honest was not that good. Normally in veggi places they add many vegetables or make their own salsa. We explicitly ordered bechamel sauce but got a normal tomato sauce which was very watery. The mushrooms did not tast that great either. For what we got (only speaking of the pasta) I think it was a little bit overpriced. I guess they are not specialised in noodles. We actually wanted to order the Thai noodles but they were not available.
Pros: Almost all the dishes can be made vegan, They have a lot of different burgers, They don't only use tofu but also seitan
Cons: Not a pasta place, Some dishes are a little bit too high priced

This place is great! They are not entirely vegan but many of the menu items are and include vegan cheese and vegan mayo. There are so many burger options that it was difficult to choose! The food was delicious, big portions and not expensive. Definitely recommended!

One of my favorites restaurants in San Jose. With decent prices and a varied menu. You can have a beer which is a plus.

PS: I've had a few inconveniences when ordering express directly with them. I could use apps such as Uber Eats but I just prefer all my money to go directly to the business. They just need to improve that delivery service.
