Farmer’s market held every Sat AM located in the upper parking lot of Uncle Roberts. Free parking, EBT accepted, dog friendly. Masks required as of Aug '21. Open Sat 8:00am-12:00pm.
Closed Sun-Fri.
I love this farmer's market - it is almost always sunny here, and the vibe is super chill and laid back. They have a lot of vendors, but it's easy to see everyone (the layout is great - one central walkway with tents/vendors on either side). All kinds of locals come here, from keiki to kupuna, and everyone is so friendly!
It's very vegan-friendly too - when I went there were amazing vegan donuts from I'm Happy Dough, delicious vegan & whole-grain bread and pastries from Summerdough Grains and Sweets, and tasty Indian food from an all-vegan food vendor. Lots of other options too, including drinks, chocolate, and more!
As an added bonus, there is a hiking trail right next to the market! Parking is surprisingly well laid-out too - there is plenty of space to park if you drive up to the lava field. Come check them out!
Many booths, all with unique & interesting items. Besides the local greens & fruits etc you will also find hot & cold prepared foods. Bananarama Bakery is all vegan, with their own homemade vegan cheeses in their strombolis & foccacia etc. Also decadent deserts including gluten free if you desire. Another vendor sells empanadas that I love, 3 of the types are vegan. There is local made kombucha, local honey etc. Also there are many vendors selling clothing & jewelry etc. And at the end of the row, a certified acupuncturist. Live music too. Get there early before all the good stuff sells out!
I'm a farmer's market connoisseur, and this one's my favorite in any state. Set on a lava field overlooking the ocean, it has tons of vegan options from scrumptious doughnuts to pad Thai to healthy, non-chemical and vegan body butters and hair products. Love love love!
