Fresh cones! - Edit
The waffle cones are made-to-order, so they are fresh and crispy. The gelato is absolutely delicious!! They have unique, rotating flavors. We went two days in a row and some new flavors were available the second day. I’m not used to having so many vegan choices at an ice cream place so I nearly short circuited. The flavors are bold and the texture is so creamy. The staff is super friendly.

BEST GELATO I’VE EVER HAD - Edit
So creamy & delicious!! We came early before our flight back home and were treated with such loving energy. I truly wish the best for this business and hope they are blessed with much more growth. Not only is the gelato made with love, but so are the waffle cones. Thanks for booking me up with stickers as well! I’ll be repping you all the way back to SD. Hands down some of the best gelato/ice cream I’ve ever had. The Cereal Mylk was insane. Worth every effort to come get some Ice cream from here.

Awesome GF, organic, and vegan! - Edit
Great coconut based gelato place with unique flavors in Pahoa. They also have a shop in Hilo and quite a few of the vege places on the Big Island carry their gelato. Friendly owner😄 I appreciate they're all organic and offer GF because GF and vegan hardly ever happens for me.

Must Try Gelato - Edit
Nicoco is all vegan coconut based gelato and it is delicious. In Pahoa, Nicoco has their own small storefront on the main street, but they also sell to retailers located elsewhere on the island (we had a Nicoco gelato banana split in Hilo at Consious Culture Cafe). At the Pahoa location, they make vegan waffle cones to order, and they are delicious! My husband and I had tiramisu flavored gelato in a waffle cone with coconut whipped cream. OMG it was good. They have a large selection of flavors that I understand rotate periodically. Other flavors we tried were coconut, golden macadamia, and rose cardamom. The owners are super friendly and the gelato is such a treat. Be sure to try them whenever you can.

Delicious VEGAN Gelato and friendly owners, what more could a person ask for?!?! Highly recommend visiting. The only complaint is not realizing it was there sooner. Definitely a must try. Fresh flavor and yummy waffle cones!

I have enjoyed their gelato for years at Uncle’s Night Market on Wednesday. All the other hours listed are for their retail store in downtown Pahoa. Their butterscotch gelato is amazing and one of my favorites. They have so many varieties it’s hard to pick just one.

Amazing vegan gelato! - Edit
I’ve been enjoying their gelato for years and am so glad they now have a store. They have many creative flavors you’re unlikely to find elsewhere, such as rose petal pistachio. Flavors change regularly and I’ve yet to have any I didn’t like. As good as any vegan ice cream I’ve had in NYC and London. Also the owners are committed vegans and just awesome people.

We tried their coconut-based gelato twice, once at Uncle Robert's Night Market in Kaimu (only on Wednesday nights 5-10 pm) and once at Conscious Collective in Hilo.
Read moreAt the night market they were hand making waffle cones to order which was delicious and awesome! Unfortunately they come out warm so things melted very quickly :-).
The taste was mostly coconut to us - not very strongly flavored. But tasty nonetheless.
