Awesome cute very welcoming (and well priced!) vegan cafe - Edit
I stopped by for a toastie after seeing a “tunah” toastie on the menu. And it’s a really nice homely cafe, with a “living room” style back section, with open mic instruments setup - which the guy said they do at evenings sometimes - and a vintage shop downstairs with clothing, old vinyls, and trinkets. But upstairs the cafe has all the drinks, lattes, smoothies, and juices you would want- and even cocktails for £7! The mains and sides are also great, with lots of toasties made fresh, and sides like mac & cheese, or soup etc. Then to finish off there’s a counter full of fresh vegan cakes, pastries, chocolate bars (both homemade artisan white chocolate, and Kit Kats). A really nice environment and very friendly guy running it and serving. I will be back for more relaxing snacks and drinks.

Best and most affordable in London - Edit
I love this little cafe. It has really fairly priced food to make vegan food accessible. Toastie and a side costs just £7. The cakes are pretty cheap, I had the rhubarb blondie which was incredible. The Mac and cheese is great and the smoothies delicious. It's queer owned and has a really friendly and community feel. It ticks all my boxes for a cute vegan cafe

What a gem.... - Edit
I'm almost reluctant to leave a review for fear of this absolute gem getting overrun....Owners Chris and Alex have created a wonderful warm hearted community hub on Roman Road. I suspect a large number of the customers aren't actually vegan (in fact, bearing in mind that it's so beloved by so many of East London's trendy dogs, I know it!) but are happily munching away on toasted sandwiches, cakes, good strong coffee and fresh juices. My omni boyfriend is obsessed with the sausage sandwich which comes with a spicy Spanish mojo and we go every Sunday for brunch....it's almost like meeting up with family there. I live around the corner and feel really blessed to have such cool vegan place on my doorstep. The live events are great too and many of the artists/musicians/drag acts are local. I can't recommend it enough.

best vegan cafe I’ve EVER visited - Edit
Happy Cow calls this a cafe, but really it is so much more than that. I went here three times in one week whilst visiting my boyfriend who studies at uni here. He isn’t veggie, but was absolutely obsessed. The vibes are amazing, the staff and owners are so kind, the seating is cozy, there are games to play while having coffee or lunch, and the food is amazing! We were obsessed with the mac and cheese, (definitely shouldn’t miss it), and the homemade soups and pastries are perfect for a rainy London day. My boyfriend and I spend hours in there, playing chess after eating, and never felt like we were wanted to leave because we had finished our meals. It’s truly places like this that make me love the vegan community. Also, for being in London and vegan, the prices feel reasonable! You can get a nice, hearty lunch with a drink for less than £10. Do not miss if you are nearby!!
