Such great flavors - Edit
All the food came out wonderful. Some plates (like the leek fried rice without egg) look quite simple but wow, once you eat it the flavors are not simple at all. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Edit
Update 9/22/23: Garlic ramen is currently not vegan because they had to change the noodles and it now contains egg.

It’s a shame I can’t give the food here 5 stars. The food is better here than at many all vegan restaurants. I highly recommend the bok choy & mushrooms appetizer. We usually get the general tso’s tofu. The garlic ramen is also very good. This has become one of my favorite restaurants. Downsides: vegan dessert option is usually just a sorbet, which isn’t the end of the world but I typically don’t order it bc the desserts non-vegans at the table order just seem so decadent that I’d rather skip dessert. The cocktails here are just okay.

I had the General Tao's tofu, which was our server's suggestion. It was delectable. Service was excellent, food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. #Veganuary

Generous and clear customization - Edit
Not only are there pre-defined options to veganize dishes, but they are open to substituting in proteins for vegan options.

delicious - Edit
Juju always has a decent selection of vegan options on the menu and all are delicious, fresh, and creative. It's becoming one of my favorite spots in Durham. The drinks are awesome too.
Read more--update May 2018-- Juju is still one of my favorites. They recently participated in the 2018 Bull City Vegan Challenge and ended up keeping their dish entry on the menu - a crispy silken tofu with Korean rice cakes, bok choy, oyster mushroom, scallions, garlic, and bean sprouts. I had no idea what Korean rice cakes were before trying this dish - they are like little pillows of steamed rice flour, almost pasta-like, and so good!
