tasty - Edit
Ordered the only 2 dishes she said were vegan. She used the word vegan as she described the dishes. She asked if I wanted the bread that came with the dishes because the bread was buttered. So, she knew what vegan is? What I had was good but I wish there was a brown rice option.

Good food - Edit
There are 3 vegetarian menu items, and they are all great. Two are likely vegan. There are 2 menu items marked V for vegetarian -- white bean chili and bumblebee stew. The person at the counter used the word vegan to refer to the white bean stew, which I can believe. The bumblebee stew is likely vegetarian at best (has a mild dairy taste, uses the word cream in the description). They told me the red beans and rice is vegetarian, then they add the meat when it's ordered, so it can be ordered meat free. It was all real tasty and a nice change of pace. Served with Texas toast, buttered, and that sliced white bread usually has milk in it if this is info you need.
Read moreThe food is made at a central kitchen location and distributed to stores, so the recipes should be the same among locations.
Pros: Enough veg options to eat well and it's different, They will let you try items before you buy them

Vegeterian-friendly dishes - Edit
The Bumblebee Stew is delicious for vegetarians and omnivores alike. I have to agree with other reviewers that it's probably not vegan; the sauce tastes creamy, and I would bet that there is likely butter in it.
Read moreIn any case, it is a sweet and spicy dish that is one of my favorites here. Corn mingles with black beans, tomatoes and onions, all slow simmered and served over rice for a filling, tasty dish that anyone will enjoy.
This location has charm with its no-frills appearance, and the service is always fast and friendly. All-in-all, a great place to grab a vegetarian-friendly dish any night of the week.

Bumblebee - Edit
The Bumblebee stew is NOT vegan. Several locations add butter to the recipe.
