Fine for vegetarians, not recommended for vegans - Edit
As a long-time vegetarian, I was a fan of Isaac's. The Larkspur was my go-to for many years.
Read moreAfter going vegan, I found the options to be very limited. For my last visit, I had the black bean patty with the vegan-friendly bread. The bread had no flavor and was simply not good at all. I opted to throw it out.

Tasty - Edit
Not many vegan options, but the waitstaff were happy to answer my questions. A bit expensive, but tasted fresh.

Wish they had more vegan options... - Edit
As a local restaurant that has many vegetarian options, I wish they'd add more vegan options!
Read moreThey recently did add a vegan black bean burger, which is good but not great. You can add it to a salad or create-your-own sandwich, but beware that when creating your own sandwich, it can get pricey pretty quickly.
I'm happy they've added the vegan black bean burger, but I was just hoping they'd add more vegan options than that one thing.
Pros: Vegan black bean burger, Many vegetarian options, Friendly staff
Cons: Few vegan options, Can get pricey for sit-down deli-like food

Veg options dwindling - Edit
I notice that the number of vegetarian options has declined in recent years. Luckily, they are reinstating old items as part of a 30th anniversary campaign albeit temporarily. I've been reminiscing more often lately. This is not low-fat food and is mainly lacto-ovo. Also worth noting as impressive was that they had disclosure notices on the table that their pretzel rolls were not vegetarian and that they were going to change suppliers. They did and all is well. Nice touch Isaac's!
