Great vegan coffee & pretty good value - Edit
Loved it. Got a special (mac nut syrup cap with soy/oat), soy cap, and banana bread. Was a little slow to come out but was deeply enjoyed! Love that it’s all vegan the prices were not insane.

Vegan mochi donuts are bomb - Edit
Great local vibe, back patio with adorable geckos. All vegan except local honey. My coffee-knowledgable fam gives their coffee 4/5. Food options are Just Egg & O'Dough's gluten-free bagels, donuts, macaroons, coconut yogurt parfet with jam and granola. Cute shirts, thermoses, coffee & tea to brew at home, potted plants, drink mixes.

Hot Cocoa and Breakfast Sandwich to die for! - Edit
Their Holy Cocoa and GF Breakfast sandwich was amazing. I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. Went there two days earlier for the sandwich which was sold out and had their house made Chai and GF Chocolate Chile Walnut Bread which was also excellent. Highly recommend!

Great breakfast for a great vacation :) - Edit
imua coffee roasters
Read moreA nice little cafe right outside the beach resort. I got Braddah Dave’s Breakfast sandwich and the malasada with a drink. The price is awesome. Very friendly and helpful service. Very convenient to my hotel and has plenty of seating.
Breakfast sandwich: reminds me greatly of sizzlies from Wawa back in NJ when I wasn’t vegan
Malasada: reminiscent of a zeppole if I’m not mistaken. Very good/sweet :)
Went back and got the surfers fuel without honey (recommendation from me is to switch to agave)- very unique to me, granola, yogurt and banana to make a light and great combo. It could have used either a blueberry or strawberry but even as it was- it was very nice
They may or may not have all of the baked goods available based on the staff and time, but the options available were pretty awesome. A great breakfast for this nice vacation! I think this was excellent and they went above and beyond😄5. [in my opinion]
(Didn’t get a picture of the surfers fuel because I devoured it too quickly lol)
Pros: Great breakfast food (taste), Good price to me, Great service and convenience

Great little breakfast spot! - Edit
Our hotel was right next door, great coincidence! The breakfast sandwich was great but the chia parfait was amazing! Note many food items contain honey, some can be ordered without but not sure all can so be sure to ask if you want full vegan.

Vegan and GF Breakfast Sandwich! - Edit
We were really excited to discover this vegan coffee place on Happy Cow. It's all vegan, with the exception of honey. (They can substitute maple syrup as needed). The breakfast sandwich has a taro patty and it's delicious! Acai bowls and coffee are also excellent. Chocolate banana bread was exceptional.

Incredible Coffee! - Edit
Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend getting the lavender syrup. I got the coconut macaroon which was pretty good. We ordered the vegan breakfast bagel which was a little dry, but okay? I didn’t like their chia pudding too much, but it was very filling. Overall, I would definitely like to return and hopefully try some other menu items. It’s a good go-to coffee spot if you’re visiting!

All plant-based coffee shop! - Edit
Lovely staff, all plant based, sustainable containers for orders. Snacks and a few other vegan products also available. They even have a note on their menu that says something like, “for our dairy loving customers, we recommend trying oat milk”

Vegan breakfast - Edit
Very excited to find this plant based coffee shop (some items contain local honey, but they are clearly marked). Special flavors for the drinks include uala (ube) syrup and local lavender syrup. They have vegan croissants, macaroons, and more. When we were visited they were out of the strawberry lilikoi muffin but it sounded so good!!

Best Roast! - Edit
OMG, I LOVE this organic, specially roasted coffee! I have now ordered this coffee over 9 months (even though I live in Canada) because it is the best. I am grateful the owners take the time to tell me the best way to take care of the coffee (whether to put in the freezer, grind in batches, etc) so that I can maximize the bean. Thank you so much making such a superior roast.

Delicious! - Edit
Confirming that Imua is all plant-based with the exception of a couple of menu items that contain honey and are marked “Beegan (contains honey)” accordingly.
Read moreI walked here from my rental home after seeing the good reviews on Happy Cow and was not disappointed. It’s located in a strip of shops behind the Coconut Marketplace. When I asked the employee who helped me if everything is vegan, she confirmed that the owners went vegan and decided they couldn’t serve their customers anything they wouldn’t eat themselves. : ) Please note again the “Beegan” menu items for those who do not consume honey.
I had the Chia Pudding Parfait (DELICIOUS!) and an iced matcha latte with oat milk. I’ll definitely be returning again this week.

Vegan Coffee shop on Kauai - Edit
Behind the coconut marketplace in Kapaa is a coffee shop that recently went fully vegan. The new shop owners are vegan, and now cater to other vegans, lactose-intolerant and people who just enjoy alternative milks in their coffee and hot or cold drinks. Locally made bagels, granola, baked goods are also all there. Coffee is regularly recommended as the best coffee in Hawaii by coffee aficionados. You can see the roaster where the coffee is roasted on-site. Freshness and care of ingredients is clearly a top priority.

Great place for your early breakfast needs! - Edit
It's 3:30 AM and your jetlag has just woken you up. Where can you go to grab something to eat other than the luna bar left over from your flight? Nowhere!
Read moreBut this place appears to be the earliest opening Kapaa location with vegan food. And the food is quite tasty (if limited): they had multiple vegan breads / muffins while we there. The only non-vegan baked good they had was a cinnamon role. The muffins were very good (not too sweet) but the banana bread was excellent and is highly recommended.
If you're a coffee drinker they had multiple non-dairy milk options: soy milk, hemp milk, and a third option but I forgot what it was. If you're a tea drinker you're mostly out of luck since they really only do coffee.
Pros: Open early, great banana bed, Options are limited but most baked goods are vegan
Cons: No tea selection
StevenMeredith
Thank you for the great review. I’m sorry that you weren’t made aware of our tea menu.

Excellent coffee roasted on-premise and a small selection of vegan and gluten-free baked goods. Enjoyed a slice of coconut banana bread with a cold-brew coffee before a day of sightseeing. Located in a tiny mall behind Coconut Marketplace.
