Tasty lunch set and cake - Edit
Popped in here just before 2pm after visiting Himeji Castle (other restaurants had already sold out of vegan options). It's a little off the main road but well worth the diversion.
Read moreThe lunch set was tasty, filling, and had a lot of variety. All seemed fresh and proportions were good. Tried the carrot cake dessert which was moist and had a good flavour.
Pros: Good vegan set menu, Lots of drink & sweets options, Inside store with vegan snacks available

Delicious satisfaction - Edit
After visiting Himeji Castle I came here and as it was after 3:30pm, I thought oh no I missed lunch. But, as it was after 3pm I could now order the pancakes, which I did and oh my am I glad I came by late. They were melt in your mouth delightful and satisfied a craving I didn't know I had.

Beef bowly molé - Edit
Lovely family run establishment, came after lunch menu had finished and we were able to have the beef bowl. Get the brown rice as it’s sticky and really good.

I love this place! - Edit
I often go here for lunch - the lunch set is large, filling, and delicious. I also like popping in for a coffee or organic juice and pastry.

The shop is great too. There are vegan packaged foods (and some non-vegan too - so ask if you’re unsure) and sustainable items, such as metal straws and a cute eco bag with the cafe’s logo (I always carry around the small one with me).

Great food - very kind owner - Edit
I had a very pleasant dinner at il riccio. The food was very delicious - typical Japanese food and I even got a salad and some chocolate to my scone as a service. I talked with the owner for quite some time, which made me very happy since I am travelling alone.

First plant-based cafe in Himeji - Edit
Probably the first ever plant-based cafe in Himeji. It's awesome for vegans who visit / live in Himeji because we hadn't had anywhere to really eat for the longest time. The food is pretty good. There's a bunch of sweets and drink options. WARNING: the meals, drinks and sweets they serve are totally vegan but they have a shop section attached to it where they sell dairy, egg and fish contained products and even real sausages. So if you're a vegan and looking to buy something other than just having lunch or a tea, pls ensure to check!
