Veggie Burger with Avocado - Edit
Super fresh and YUM burger- had the avocado option. Also bought a bunch of bagels/pastries to go as they all look so amazing. All really fresh, they were bringing out fresh-beked goods while we were in line.

Great for vegetarian - Edit
Found this spot tucked away in an alley on the walk back toward the Himeji train station about a block from Himeji-jo. Small spot with delicious pastries and some seating to eat in. They serve hamburgers and vegetarian sandwiches.
Read moreThe pastries have dots on the signs that show whether it includes flour, eggs, or dairy. Only truly vegan looking pastries were some flavors of bagel. A lot were vegetarian and super delicious.
Unclear if any of the veggie "burgers" were vegan. Note that they are not burgers but sandwiches on a brioche type bun (not sure if vegan). Very delicious but basic. I got the "grilled" cheese burger which was just a cheese sandwich with some kind of aioli type sauce, lettuce and tomato with 2 slices of cold American style cheese and some kind of nacho cheese sauce between. It was ok but not what I expected by the word "burger". They also have an avocado burger and falafel burger but each I would assume are just sandwich with that main ingredient as the middle. I think the falafel would probably be the best.
Pros: Delicious pastries, Cute atmosphere, Good serving sizes
Cons: Not a lot of vegan options, Not burgers, just sandwhiches, Cramped space
