Good deal - Edit
Good pitas, friendly staff. Prices are not so low, but it's downtown Budapest, so it's not a surprise.

Good but I Expected More - Edit
I was expecting a greater range of vegan options, instead many are vegetarian, others with meat, but for what vegan offers, it's a good product

Good place to eat in a hurry - Edit
The food is nice. We enjoyed the pita sandwiches but I don’t really recommend ordering the hummus plate since the portion of the hummus is not generous

Molto soddisfatta - Edit
Locale molto bello e curato. Personale molto gentile e disponibile e servizio veloce. Tutte le opzioni sono vegetariane e molte vegane o veganizzabili. Ho provato il falafel sabich ma senza le uova ed è molto gustoso. Anche le patate molto buone. Prezzo nella norma

Good but enough room for improvement - Edit
Good but not that In to seperate cooking.
Read moreThe hummus was awesome and so was the falafel. Instead of a to big scoop of tahini they could better add some greens like chopped salad or cucumber. In thekitchen it was crowded and they did not have enough space to put their frying baskets. They where putting falafel frying baskets on meatstove and such because they did not have enough space to put their stuff….
Pros: Affortable kind of healthy fastfood
Cons: Not seperate workareas, To much Tahini and no greens

Fair Choice - Edit
Just a Hummus Bar like the many others you can find around Budapest. More than fair if you want to have a quick meal at a reasonable price for what you get. Many vegan options available. Not the healthiest choice. It's just fine.

Great falafel - Edit
Perfect spot straight off the airport bus for a late dinner. Delicious falafel and tahini especially. Both had the houmous plates (complete / falafel) with homemade lemonade. Very filling. Lovely staff. Sweet outdoor seating with blankets in open air area just off street. Super clear menu for vegans.

Yum yum yum - best lunch I had all trip! - Edit
I'd seen a few "Hummus Bar" outlets so I assume it's a chain.
Read moreThis one is down a little side street next to Szimpla with other food trucks and a seating area in the middle so a perfect place to go with friends who have different dietary requirements/tastes.
This Hummus Bar is purely veggie, and the menu has a really clear key to show what is veggie and what is vegan. I had the 'classic falafel' which was a vegan option - a big pitta filled with a generous portion of falafel, sauerkraut, middle eastern salad, houmous and herbs. The falafel were a great size, not too big, and green in the middle so you could tell they'd used fresh herbs. I wasn't asked which fillings/toppings I wanted but I didn't mind a bit as it was all delicious and worked perfectly together. Also, none of it fell out of the pitta whilst I ate it which was astounding - very well put together! It was 990 HUF (£2.75-£3), a price I was very happy to pay.
MMMM so good!
(I would give 5 stars for this but it is currently incorrectly listed as a non-vegetarian restaurant, so the highest I am able to rate it is 4 stars).
Pros: Delicious falafel, really well priced, well stuffed pitta AND nothing fell out!
Cons: They didn't ask which salads I wanted, but it worked amazingly so not really a con!

Lots of these establishments in Budapest. We had a very good lunch, more than we could eat for €16.90 for 2 Inc tip.
