Beautiful setting, great food - Edit
I ordered mushroom and yuba satay skewers, the crispy teriyaki roll, and oat milk tea. I may have been biased because it was such a hot day out but the oat milk tea with popped rice was so refreshing and better than any other milk tea I’ve had. The teriyaki roll was delicious but I thought it was strange that it didn’t automatically come with wasabi, ginger and soy sauce. The satay skewers were also very good, but I wished I had come with more people so I could have tried many different small plates.

Cons: Hard to flag down waiter; had to wait a bit to pay

Best Vegan Restaurant in the World - Edit
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Taiwan. It's a little pricey, but totally worth it. Perfect for a date night.
Read moreYou absolutely have to get the Spicy Tuna roll. I've tried pretty much everything on the menu and it's the best. It's so good I refuse to share. The terriaki roll is a close second.
Pros: Spicy 'Tuna' Roll, Terriaki Roll, Tofu Kaarage

Fancy vegetarian in the big city - Edit
This place has a lot going for it. It falls into the veg nouveau class of Taiwan veg. It's expensive and has a variety of Asian flavors.
Read moreI've had most of the menu. It's all quite good. The restaurant itself is quite cool also. I have some friends who absolutely adore this place. For me it's a nice place if you want to "eat out" , but not someplace that you would visit on a regular basis.
Pros: Good food, Interesting mix of Asian foods
Cons: Expensive

Excellent - Edit
This has tons of positive reviews on google so I'm not sure why it's fame hasn't reached happy cow!
Read moreThis is a very 'westernised' take on Asian fusion but the food is absolutely delicious. A little pricey compared to other vegan spots in Hsinchu (about 400NTD for a meal) but it's well worth it.
I came here twice during my stay in Taiwan and it was excellent both times.
