Vegan food - Edit
Eating in a relatively quiet hotel isn't generally my idea of fun, especially when town is buzzing with live entertainment and al-fresco eateries. But I wanted choice and a good meal so I did a search for 'vegan restaurant, Levico' and this place came up.
Read moreIt's en route to the Levico's fantastic fort (interesting, cheap, and not far from town) and barely announces itself. For vegetarians, there's a choice between two or three menus but just one of those menus was vegans. My partner and I both went for something that was like vegan gnocchi, which came with a huge carvery style 'bar' full of roasted vegetables, boiled vegetables and salad that you could help yourself to. The veg I had was really, really tasty. There was bread too but we were all breaded out so gave that a miss.
For dessert I had an apple strudel, which was OK but as a new vegan I still lust after cream and ice-cream and all things wicked. Strudel isn't wicked. Strudel is fruit in a coat, and not even one that makes your teeth fur.
Anyway, I liked this place a lot. It wasn't especially busy but the atmosphere was helped by the friendly staff, including one waitress who tried to sell us additional desserts and drinks with vigour and humour. Be aware that there's a supplement for vegan food as well as an automatic service charge. We paid E58.50 (about £25 each) for food that was much healthier (and to my mind much tastier) than a vegan pizza or pasta would have been. I'd recommend it.

Abbiamo cenato all’hotel da esterni, ci hanno proposto un menu con antipasto primo secondo e dolce, tutte le pietanze ottime, a un prezzo più che onesto. Unica cosa mi sarebbe piaciuto poter scegliere se prendere il menu intero o solo alcuni piatti, perché tutto è davvero tanto

Reopens May 20th 2019 (or so) - Edit
The restaurant was closed when I went there but the hotel had a small group so there was a staff member to talk to. She said the restaurant was currently closed but will reopen on May 20th (or around that date).

Fantastic hotel and restaurant - Edit
This place was a fanastic find. We stayed at hotel for three nights, ate in restaurant every evening. We always had a choice of starters, and mains. Desserts were incredible. Staff were very friendly and always keen to cook us food we wanted. Would definitely come back. Very good value: fixed three course price of 25 eur.
