Won’t be back.

We made a reservation for 10 people but some didn't show up. They had pushed 2 tables together for us on the back patio. So we told our server he could take the other one away. He said ok but didn't move it. Then another server ended up taking our table because the first person's shift was over. So we also told her we didn't need the other table. She said it's fine.

So the check comes, and there's a large group gratuity added (no problem) and a $70 miscellaneous fee with no description. We asked about it, and the server said it's to cover the people who didn't come. Since we took up space for 10 people, they weren't able to sit other customers. Mind you, there were only 3 other tables of people on the patio the entire time we were there with at least 7 open tables.

We told the manager that we asked for the other table to be taken away twice, and they said we had to have updated the guest number 48 hours in advance to not be charged. My friend said she was never told that while making the reservation, and the manager literally said "it's in really small fine print on OpenTable," which made it sound like they do this on purpose. Plus, she didn't make the reservation through OpenTable. She called them. Needless to say, they won't have to worry about us visiting, taking up space from imaginary customers again.

Ok for Vegans

There are 2 main dishes that can be made vegan: a burger and fried (lion's mane) "chicken". The lion's mane was good...but not good enough for the cost. We spent about $65/person

The place itself is busy (definitely make a reservation) with a very unique atmosphere. Improvements like being a bit cheaper or having more vegan options would earn this one or two more stars.

Pros: Vibe

Cons: Very expensive , Few vegan options
