May be ok but not as vegan as I hoped - Edit
I went during the Passover holiday, so they were severely limited in what they could serve (only potato bread and no legumes), but I was curious to try their salad options (and the potato bread). Although I only thought to ask what the bread was made of after I placed my order and sure enough, it contained eggs. I gave my sandwich to my friends to split and they said it was ok, but the bread was pretty tasteless.
Read moreI want to give the benefit of the doubt in that they'd be a better stop outside the holidays, but really I'd say it's not worth going out of your way for. But it's a lot of vegetables that you can get quickly, so it's certainly not bad. Just may not be worth paying for.

Pros: Quick service
Cons: Standard vegetables and spreads (nothing special)

The only relatively healthy lunch option in the Jewish Quarter - Edit
As a teacher and tourguide who works in the old city, I am often frustrated at the unhealthy lunch options in the Jewish Quarter, and so Holy Bagel has become my default when I need a quick bite. The bagels are usually fresh, and the salad bar offers a very impressive selection of vegan-friendly ingredients. Unfortunately, their avocado spread is processed and not very yummy, and they only serve salads in disposable plastic containers, even if you plan to sit and eat there. There are only a few tables available, so be prepared to find seating elsewhere.

Cons: Limited seating, Too many disposable containers
