Great food and service and ambience - Edit
This is one of the best vegetarian place I've been to. Really delicious and creative food, incredible service, and a nice dark, cool atmosphere. Reasonable prices too. I could see eating here several times a week if I lived nearby.
Read moreI don't recall exactly what I ordered but it was all good. If you are hungry I'd figure on 2 dishes per person, since they aren't huge, but that is kind of par for the course in Asia and especially veggie places here...I scarfed down 3 dishes and the appetizers that came with my beer, but i'm a big guy and that was my only meal of the day so....3 dishes and 3 beers came to about 160k give or take..not bad.
By the way, this is run by the Gold Hotel next door, and they clearly have high standards...maybe the best and friendliest servers I've encountered in VN..their names were Ha and Ngoc, tell them I said "hi" okay :)
Pros: great food, fabulous service and ambiance, reasonable prices
Cons: a little slow (but that might be the style)

Overall enjoying dining here, food was nothing spectacular but did appreciate the clean/quiet dining area and very friendly staff. Also enjoyed the complimentary appetizers & tea provided.

Mainly vegan food with nice taste and affordable price - Edit
The atmosphere at the restaurant is very nice - it is very clean and modern and the staff is super friendly. The menu mainly consists out of vegan choices - i think only 1 or 2 options contain diary (e.g. the pumpkin soup). The food is really great. We had the tofu, the seitan and also the grilled eggplant and all of it was just amazing with some rice. Especially the tofu is one of the best I ever had! You also get tea and some snacks for free! The prices are affordable, maybe not as cheap as at a "street food stall" but also not expensive (considering what you get here!)

Mostly vegan. Amazing food! - Edit
Vegetarian restaurant but I think nearly all dishes are completely vegan which is amazing. Although the restaurant is quite fancy the prices are fair/reasonable for what you get. We had the eggplant dish, fried tofu, steamed rice, spring rolls and the rice noodles which came to 210k including 2 drinks. Everything tasted amazing! The service was also really good and we got a tea and a little starter for free. Would definitely recommend this place for vegans around Hue!

Hidden gem - Edit
This place is part of a fancy restaurant, yet pretty reasonably priced. It's a little calm oasis if you want to take a break from your local chay place, which is what we wanted. The food came quickly and it was tasty, yet not out of this world, like we've had in other places

Amazing Vegan options - Edit
We had the seitan salad and dumplings which were both vegan and amazing! Lovely relaxed atmosphere with chill tunes and impeccable service. We signed the wall with chalk and plan to go back tonight for dinner as there were way more vegan options we wanted to try 🌱😍

Good value, tasty food and nice venue - Edit
Popped in here by chance as we were walking past, glad I didn’t read the last few reviews until we were through the door as it might have put me off, nearly everything vegan apart from a couple of dishes with egg. We ordered 3 dishes all were tasty and plentiful. Loved the fact you could draw your thoughts on the wall, highly recommended

Not amazed by the food - Edit
This is a nice looking place near the bars of Hue. We got complimentary tea and a snack platter when arriving (peanuts, mango and croutons).
Read moreI had he Hue noodles, which were nice, but nothing special. My friend had the tapioca pearl dish with stuffed beans. This wasn’t that great. Just a bit tasteless. My other friend had the crispy noodles, which she wasn’t that blown away by either.
Prices are okay, but considering what we paid I would have hoped for bigger portions or tastier food!
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Complimentary things on arrival
Cons: Food wasn’t that great , Small portions

Bad :( - Edit
The food here was really not good and we were really disappointed since reading the reviews! We went quite late (around 10pm) so maybe that was the reason. We had a rice plate that came with veg and tofu and a soup, the plate was swimming in oil so much that I couldn’t actually taste anything other than oil, even the soup had a thick layer of oil on top too. We also ordered a noodle dish which again was oily and way too much turmeric used, we left the majority of it. In my opinion there are much better places for a fraction of the price. The staff were really nice and friendly though and we did get free ginger tea. Also tax is added to your meal so expect to pay extra than the menu states

Cute vegan restaurant - Edit
Pretty sure this place was a full vegan restaurant - otherwise it’s all vegetarian. It’s open late (11pm) which is great if you are running late for dinner as most places close at 7 or 8pm. Prices range from 40,000 - 70,000 dong. Very tasty too!!

Love it - Edit
This restaurant is a couple of streets of the main tourist area and that’s what we look for. It has a very elegant decor, service, music etc - however the prices are extremely reasonable. My husband and I had three dishes and two beer and the cost was 200,000 dong. The food was delicious and extremely flavourful - no extra sauces needed. The server did not speak English however was extremely attentive and helpful. We highly recommend this restaurant - worth while getting off the tourist strip.

Frustrating and disappointing - Edit
I have since been back to this restaurant after about a year since I first tried it. While my experience the first time was much better, my girlfriend and I had a couple of disappointing and frustrating visits recently.
Read moreStaying in the hotel which runs this restaurant during the Tet holiday, I was pretty excited to find out it was going to be open. Unfortunately, the staff tried to rip me off by attempting to charge significantly higher prices than what were listed on the menu.
If you eat here, I definitely recommend verifying your bill before paying.
Prior review:
Newer restaurant on the ground floor of the Gold Hotel. Short walk from the main tourist and hotel areas.
The menu has a nice variety of Vietnamese and Western dishes, which are nice if you are looking for something a little different from the standard meals around Vietnam.

Amazing Vietnamese food - Edit
The food was amazing, but the portions were pretty small. You really need to order 2 dishes for a full meal or share a couple (which is not a problem). We tried to order a big plate with just veg and tofu, but the staff didn't speak much English, and they just kept pointing at the menu. No off menu ordering possible.

NOT Vegan + Not tasty food - Edit
They have many vegan options but the restaurant is not vegan.
Read moreMy friend ordered a pizza specifying 'no cheese' but the pizza still came with chesse and then the waitress clarified the restaurant is vegetarian so she returned the pizza and brought back one without chesse which was basically bread and tomato, nothing more. I had one with cheese and both of them were completely tasteless. We also tried the rice rolls (really bland) and pancake (not very tasty). Fruit juices with a lot of sugar.
I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

I really don't think you are being fair here. You are in Asia at a vegetarian place in a town full of Buddhists...and you order... pizza?? I mean, come on man... Pizza here is like going to Alberta and ordering Pad Thai or something...how can you possibly expect it to be remotely what you are used to or any good? You want good pizza, try New York or Chicago! And pancakes are also going to be better at Denny's in Springfield, Mass where people normally eat them. Too bad about the juices thuogh, definitely no excuse for that.

Great food, very affordable - Edit
We liked it so much that we went twice. There was a different cook so the quality varied, but it was really good vs. amazing. Prices are very affordable for tourists, with dishes from 35k to ca 80k vnd. Food was colourful, lots of side salad, sauces and distinct flavours. The jackfruit salad and taro fried rolls were especially great. Overall this was one level above the blander street options offered, at almost the same price.

we had a pizza, fig salad, udon and eggplant. Fig salad had no figs inside, pizza is pretty small, for 90 000, the udon was pretty good. They have nice fresh ginger tea. In general, more restauranty type, with pretty small portion.
