3.5 - Best Tempeh I've Ever Had - Edit
This was a last minute stop after we discovered the place we were planning to go to in Black Mountain turned out to be closed for winter. What a great choice we made! The kale salad veganized was so good. The kale is well massaged, dressing is delish, and their tempeh is the best I've ever had. It's a big salad so pretty filling but personally I got a side of fries since I was famished. The side of fries is a big serving too, crispy and tasty with their bbq sauce. My only complaint is that there were no vegan dessert options (I'd opted for here because reviews on here said they always have one) but I hope there will be next time.
Read moreMy non-vegan companions said their burgers were great. They run a burger special of a burger, beer, and chips (you can upgrade to fries). They do have a veggie patty option. The serving sizes here are pretty big for a really good price. So definitely a good spot to bring family and friends.
The place has good vibes but it was quite loud for me although I'd had a long few days (I am autistic so I wouldn't recommend this place as being super sensory friendly, definitely not if you're already overstimulated as I was). Probably not terrible on a less busy night but the music is kinda loud and it was surprisingly a bit busy for the middle of the week, glad to see their business doing so well though! Definitely will stop here again and support the only vegan options in Old Fort.

Great options - Edit
Love the cool atmosphere by the river. So thankful for vegan options in a small town. Almost always go for the vegan version of kale salad with a side of fries. Super tasty!

Great ambiance - Edit
Offers tempeh, house made falafel and house made veggie patty. Falafel was delish, not blackened like at some places. And it’s a brewery with over a dozen options all in house. Refurbished textile mill with great music also. Great option for a relative desert!
