Fab local brewery - Edit
We try to come here as often as possible and also on Durham Miner’s Gala day in July when the beers are flowing. They are all vegan with varieties for all tastes.

My planet sweet on a silver salver - Edit
Fantastic little place on the banks of the River Wear smack in the centre of the City of Durham. Essentially a one man operation, everything is brewed on site in an old building that also doubles up as a makeshift bar inside with various unique seating options. Beers are all vegan and the owner himself is hugely vegan aware. Look out for ingeniously named and creatively brewed beers. Bottled gift sets are also available, particularly popular during the festive season. Find this place absolutely bustling on Durham Miner’s Gala day on the second Saturday in July with left leaning comrades supping fabulous £3 a pint beers. Watch out for the signs as you walk up Silver Street from the river. If they’re on display you’ll know the brewery is open for business. Also check Facebook for latest opening hours.
