WOW! Not to be missed in Oaxaca

The food was amazing, and the place was very beautiful. The service was impeccable. Their famous mole wasn't available for parties of one, unfortunately (or so I understood) - you could still get a taster in one of the entrees.

Make sure you save some space for dessert - it was amazing.

There are only a few tables, so reservation is recommended.

Cons: Racista

Nice for tasting mole.

Super friendly staff and fully vegan. Some dishes aren’t really clear about what’s in it or comes with it, but it was really tasty.
We had 2 mole dishes with very little vegetables in it, so it was more of a soup.

Pros: Fully vegan, Traditional moles, Friendly staff

Cons: Little pricey , Not much in the mole

Traditional Oaxacan Goodness

Love this place, we visited quite a few times over our visits to Oaxaca. The food is all so nice, the cocktails are yum and the desserts are to DiE for. Definitely try the chocco cake or the Oaxacan dreamy chocolate. Maybe on the pricier side, cute courtyard setting.

good not great

I wanted to like this place more than I did, especially because all of the food is local and organic. Some options are okay, but many dishes were simply lacking flavor and bland (asking for salt helped a little). The prices are good and the ambiance is nice, but the food is hit or miss.

Cons: Ask for salt, They don't have black pepper

Cool vibes & fully vegan

A really nice setting, recommend coming in the day to enjoy the vibe! Nice to find a healthy place to eat with no oil/refined sugar. A little bit more expensive than other places in oaxaca (I had 2 starters, a drink & a dessert that came to $300). Place actually opens until 9pm so ignore happycow hours. Recommend the guacamole. Don’t get the chocolate cake, it’s dry & not very interesting.

Edit: also came and got 2 different dishes (Tlayuda & Red bean soup) and both were pretty average. Tasteless, uninteresting, couldn’t even finish the soup. The starters are far better. Recommend the guacamole! That’s the only thing I’d get again

Good food, beautiful design & details

Beautiful terrace, high quality design in all the details. Great service, attentive, patient, kind. Good food, lacking a bit in flavor. I feel the prices are reflective of the quality of design, setting, & service as well as the food. I had the tlayuda with mushrooms (great size portion but wish they served it with their cilantro salsa, I added salt as it was just lacking a bit of flavor). I had the natural soda, hibiscus flavor (excellent), finished with the chocolate cake (a bit dry) & a machiatto (very good). My total was 278 pesos. I was for sure full for the day but not too full, very comfortable.

Mole tasting a bit disappointing

I've been many times and liked it. Service is fantastic. Vegetarian Clamato (home made, no fishy ingredients). Went for the mole tasting recently and it was just ok. It's just tortillas and mole. Not a meal. Didn't care for about a third of the moles, really liked a couple, and the rest were just OK.
Also, when you order the guacamole and chips, the chips are very, very insufficient. One time I ordered two more orders of chips to finish the guac, which was great.
Would still highly recommend the place though.

Pros: Truly vegan, open air, great staff

Cons: kinda boring, not enough protein, not enough chips.

Fully vegan, filling

I really enjoyed my visit here. It’s on the pricey side for Oaxaca, but worth a visit. I had a starter, an entrée, and a dessert for about $200 MXN. It was filling. The food isn’t incredible, but still worth trying. I love the seating area. Great customer service.

Not my favorite, but good.

I feel that is as authentic Oaxacan vegan food as you’re going to get from a vegan restaurant. I think all my food was pretty healthy.

In general, I liked my appetizers more than my entrees. Both times I went here so far, I felt the entree was kind of bread-y. For instance, the enchiladas had no stuffing and the mole with mushrooms had layers of bread-y tortilla around not that many mushrooms.

My appetizer the first time was sopa de guías, which was basically a light green soup with pumpkin flowers and assorted stems. Have never had a soup like that again, but definitely would love to and recommend.

My appetizer the second time was ensalada de nopales. I liked this very much as well, but not as much as the soup.

The mole on the entree was extremely tasty. I probably wouldn’t order it again because I tend to like dishes with some vegetables, but I’m glad I experienced authentic Oaxacan mole.

I honestly wouldn’t recommend the enchiladas. They weren’t bad necessarily, but are very different than any enchiladas I’ve had as there is no stuffing.

Overall I will probably come here again.

Pros: Authentic, Healthy, Ambience

Cons: Slightly expensive, Not enough vegetables

Okay

We have eaten here twice because there aren't that many vegan places in Oaxaca. The food is a little bit too bland for me. I think the nopal salad was the most tasty. Food should be a little bit better considering the prices they charge. I did like the fact that their menu is WFPB, this made me feel refreshed after eating. The experience is better than the food I would argue. Lovely ambiance while sitting next to a little fountain and excellent staff that supply pretty good spices (ask for the Chile de Agua). A special request with our reservation was however not read.

Great mexican food at its highest (price too haha)

From my experience, i think i found one of the best vegan restaurants in Mexico. Not only because of the taste of everything, but because its focused on the traditional cuisine. I ordered a starter which was good, but as the main meal i was offered one of their moles. Really great! It's a pity i won't be able to taste the seven of them. Btw, if you want to you can order a full degustation of the moles. As a dessert i ordered a 'poleo' ice cream, quite good too. To drink, i ordered a ginger 'fresh water', quite bland.

Pros: Everything was delicious, Great recommendations of the waiters.

Cons: Little bit overpriced

Pure vegan gem

Good vibes, delicious and healthy food, what more could you ask for? Try the chocolate mousse for dessert - it’s made of avocado, pure Oaxacan chocolate, almond milk and agave syrup 🤤

Pros: Healthy, Tasty, Cool luminous place

Cons: Opens at 12 😠
