Beautiful settings with some vegan options.

Walk here alot, and will often try to have breakfast before or after cake after. The breakfast options are okay - but would like to see more. They have the standard full vegan breakfast, sausage bap, falafel wrap - the usual really. They recently added smashed avocado on toast which was a welcome addition - small for the price - but that can be standard here (price of the (not vegan) pancakes for the portion is interesting).

It would be nice to see a lighter option or something not bread related - some coconut yoghurt, berries and nut butter or some vegan porridge, for example.

Cakes are hit and miss. I’ve had some nice ones but the red velvet is absolutely awful. It sticks to the roof of your mouth so wouldn’t recommend but others have been nice. Good selection of drinks with non-dairy milk and it’s did friendly!

Caters very well for the pups! Dog sausages, dog ice cream, dog treats, water, blankets and a dog wash!

Pros: Beautiful setting with lovely walks, Good selection of drinks, Cakes are nice (overall)

Cons: Need more selection of vegan options, Portions are hit and miss - can be expensive , Service can be very slow

Really great place

Really delicious vegan food. A lot of choices for a non vegan place. . I had a burger and my husband had a panini. Both very tasty. The cakes weren’t marked vegan which is annoying but when I asked they had two lovely ones and a flapjack. Coffee was fresh and hot. I also had a vegan ice cream milkshake which was yummy but could have been bigger. Service was very prompt. They had more outside tables than inside which were a bit noisy anyway. Fantastic walk around the wetlands and beyond afterwards. I will be going there a lot from now on. Good parking.

Pros: Choice of vegan food, Quality of food, Location

Cons: Could use more indoor seating, Small milkshake

Dog- and vegan-friendly cafe

When I saw falafel wrap and hummus on the menu, I must admit my heart sank. But it was absolutely delicious - garlicky hummus, crispy fries and a decent side salad.

The waiting staff were lovely and helpful. And I love the fact that dogs are welcome in and outside the cafe.

Pros: Decent number of tasty vegan options, Very dog-friendly, Welcoming, helpful staff
