Great tofu! - Edit
Tried one of their vegan options at Edinburgh Street food. Fried tofu was great! The portion wasn't huge but still perfect for lunch. Would have loved a little more vegetables with rice and tofu.

Had to go twice! - Edit
Clearly labeled menu, super yummy food and lovely staff! Was in Edinburgh for three days and went to Harajuku twice as it was very good - tried the udon mushroom soup and the tofu rice bowl, both were great 😊

Pleasant but a little bland - Edit
I love Japanese food but Harajuku kitchen was a bit bland for me. It was fine, just nothing really stood out and I wasn’t wowed. It’s quite expensive so I was expecting a lot more.

10/10 Japanese Food! - Edit
I love love love Harajuku kitchen, it’s got quite a few vegan options and they are all tasty but my fave meal is the aubergine starter and the udon noodle bowl with seasonal tempura veg - so simple so amazing ❤️
Read morePros: A few good vegan options , Similar price as Wagamama but tastier
Cons: Small! Better book in advance , No more vegan mochi - very sad

Really impressed - Edit
Really impressed with the vegan options - good variety, incredible flavour, and reasonably priced considering the fantastic quality. I’m a BIG sushi fan so it was really great to be able to be indulgent and eat vegan sushi out rather than having to make it myself!

Great Japanese Food - Edit
Lovely light venue with lots of seating. Staff are friendly and service is quick.
Read moreThere are lots of vegan options across the menu: starters, sushi, and hot mains. We tired a little bit of everything and all of it was tasty.
Prices are on the higher side for Japanese food in Edinburgh but deservedly so. I found drinks and alcohol, especially the plum wine very expensive.
Pros: Lots of vegan options
Cons: More expensive
