Everything I tried from here was phenomenal. The cauliflower side is unlike anything I’ve eaten before and the sushi burritos are full of fresh flavours. Will definitely be back!

Had an amazing experience what I would like to share. From the first minute I stepped into the shop, the staff were very friendly, the food is fresh and have many options. Done my research for the company and they are doing an amazing job, not only food wise but they have got charity giving backs and they are also plastic free. One of the place when you feel it`s just too good to be real😄

I go to get my lunch from Happy Maki quite often and have basically tried all that’s on offer on the menu. The ‘Crispy Cod’ has now bypassed the ‘Fully Loaded’ as my favourite. You should definitely go in and give it a go.... The popcorn cauliflower is out of this world too.

I was recommended this place by a friend who tried their food out at Vegan nights previously, so a trip to Brighton meant having to have a pitstop at Happy Maki!
Read moreThe food was absolutely lovely. Three of us ordered different things, and all three were very nice. I personally had the "Cod" burrito, and highly recommend it!
The popcorn cauliflower were nice but not amazing. Not sure how to describe it but a bit too deep fried for me.
The staff there were super amazing, and you could see they had a friendly vibe amongst themselves as well.

My boyfriend and I got a hoisin burrito, which was pretty tasty, and a Thai burrito, which was really good. We also got the popcorn cauliflower, which probably would have been better if we hadn’t gotten it to go, but which was still enjoyable.

I was a bit skeptical of a sushi burrito but WOW, I was blown away. It was so delicious and fresh. The rainbow roll is bright and yummy, would definitely recommend it. Happy Maki also sells loving earth chocolate which I’ve been dying to try for ages and it did not disappoint! Very impressed.

Read moreWe tried all Maki rolls and all of them were really tasty. In particular we enjoyed the "Fully Loaded roll" and as side dish the Cauliflower Popcorn (especially recommended for colder days). So weve been there four times😄and were satisfied on every occasion.

Went to Happy Maki after seeing some posts on Instagram about how good the vegan food there is and oh my god I was not let down whatsoever. My sister and I got the ‘Sweet Chilli Chick’ and ‘Hoisin Duck’ wraps and then I also got the popcorn cauliflower too. All of it was to die for, great flavours, great seasoning. As a recent vegan convert this place would also be great to take your non vegan friends as the sauces they use just make it taste ‘like the real thing’. Can not wait to go back and try out the other flavours.

Read moreThe vibe in the restaurant itself is cool, but if it's not cold out you should take your food to-go and eat it down on the pebble beach a few hundred meters away. The sushi burritos are DELICIOUS. I didn't even know they exist before that meal, and after it I was ready to call them my favorite food. I don't know how they don't exist elsewhere. Seriously, I have dreams about those god damn burritos.
Though the burritos aren't too cheap, they're pretty large. The sides are also unbelievably tasty. We had the sweet potato fries, with teriyaki sauce on top, and they blew my mind. We had the cauliflower nuggets too, with some sort of coconut sauce on them, and they blew my mind again.
I don't know why I'll ever be back in Brighton, but I hope I am just so I can hit up this place again.

Very nice take away place, with the nicest people! The staff was always so friendly and helpful, I could go there again and again just to exchange a few words with them. I tried the hoisin duck and the sweet chilli chick sushi burritos, I liket the first one but thought the second one was way better! However, the highlight of the menu is the side of cauliflower with coconut sauce: simply amazing!

This restaurant is amazing!! Literally the only bad thing we could think of to say is that they’re closed on Mondays. We went there for dinner on the first day of our honeymoon in Brighton, and we came away very pleased. We had two sushi rolls, sweet potato fries and tofu rice pockets. Everything was delicious! The staff were friendly and we couldn’t be more pleased! Highly recommended!!!!
