Great vegan empanadas - Edit
Great empanadas that you can enjoy warm right at the spot or frozen that you can take with and spice up any lunch during the week. Always friendly and nice staff.

permanent cooperation - Edit
now the ice cream season started, "i am love" is back to business. however, they started a permanent cooperation with "hala empanadas" so the empanadas are still available but you've got a bit less options to choose from. (at this location, still only veg ones are offered!)
Read morewhen i visited, they had 6 different options, 3 of which were labelled vegan (spicy spinach, hala empanada [with sweet-potato & peanut marinade] and tahini x veggies). most sauces are vegan.
price per empanada is 4,80€ (same as the vegetarian ones) but they have special deals e. g. 2 for 9€ etc. also, the empanadas are relatively large so the price is ok i guess.
no reusable containers but you can bring your own.
i tried the tahini x veggies and found it ok. this was the second time i tried empanadas and i think it just isn't something for me. others might enjoy it more
ps: it's take-out only, i guess the other review belongs to hala empanada at kit café

Non-traditional empanadas - Edit
The restaurant has a nice location and you can sit outside to enjoy the view.
Read moreThe empanadas took apparently inspiration from traditional Argentinian empanadas, but tasted of course quite differently. I thought it was weird that they gave you the empanadas with a dip (for example chimichurri), which is not done in Argentina and also didn't add anything to the experience.
Pros: Nice location , Friendly staff
Cons: Empanadas were fine, but not GOOD
