Was pleasantly surprised by the falafel here, it was flavorful, fresh, and delicious! You could tell everything in the falafel wrap was fresh and well seasoned (cabbage, hummus, sauce, etc) Staff were friendly too and prices very reasonable.

So nice I had to go back a second time - Edit
The falafel gigante is simple incredible. Hábiti Falafel didn't use pita bread but instead something that was more like panini bread. The gigante wrap included Falafel, tabbouleh, grape leafs and Hummus. It was an extremely filling meal at an affordable price that left me wanting more so I came back the next day to order it again.

Perfecto! - Edit
The falafel sandwiches are so so good! We came everyday and got the falafel with hummus and tabouli. Coffee is also really really nice. If you’re Aussie you’ll definitely appreciate a cappuccino that isn’t 3/4s milk that you get almost everywhere else on town. Also soy and coconut milk offered. You must go here!

I got a gigante wrap with falafel and Hummus. Actually really tasty. Pretty cheap too. Filled a hole. A healthy Scran and glad. To find somewhere easy that does vegan.

Don't be fool by the review saying "best middle-east food ever" - Edit
The foods is pretty much ok! Except for two things: the hummus is lacking everything a good hummus should have and they don't have real pita bread.
Read moreThis won't be the best middle eastern food you ever had if you know what real middle eastern food is. But to be honest, this restaurant is pretty awesome when you think about it. The size of the portions are good, the brownies they served is delicious, the sauces pack good punches... etc.
For me, the only let down is the pita bread and hummus. The hummus is lacking garlic and citron juice. But the rest is pretty good!
Pros: Location, Prices, The size of portion
Cons: Hummus , Pita bread

Food okay but the opening hours are unclear - Edit
I was only once there. The opening hours are unfortunately as posted. I was told that open from 12 to 10.30 pm. However, today Subday was there at 9.50 pm and i was told that Sunday already closing at 10 pm. Please rectify and clarify. There are not many veg restaurants around and it then not easy to find other suitable food.
Read moreOtherwise the food was good.
But please clarify the opening hours. This should be sonething fix, otherwise no use!
Pros: Nearly all vegan
Cons: Local not very nice, rather fast food type, Chipotle sauce only vegetarian, Use better salad lettuce, Mexico has a lotbto offe

Cute little café with average food and horrible seats - Edit
Just had lunch here. Ordered a chai with soy milk, a lentil soup, and a plate of hummus and falafel. I didn't have high expectations coming in because who in their right mind would expect to find authentic Middle Eastern food in Guanajuato? That being said, it was better than I expected. The falafel was pretty good. I actually wouldn't mind coming back just for them. The hummus was nothing like what you'd get at an authentic Middle Eastern restaurant. Still tasted okay, just different. The lentil soup was bleh. It was too tangy and more like tomato sauce with lentils mixed in. The pita "bread"—if you could even call it that—wasn't even bread. It was cold, dry, and paper thin to the point of being crispy. The vegan brownie I got to go was kind of good if not a tad greasy. Oh, one more thing, avoid the benches against the walls if you can. It was like sitting on a rock. Halfway through the meal my [censored] was starting to hurt.
Read moreOverall, it's a small, cute place with middling food. I'm glad they exist for veg*ns in this otherwise not so veg-friendly city. Just don't expect too much as far as authenticity goes.
Pros: inexpensive, good falafel
Cons: uncomfortable seats, meh lentil soup and pita "bread"

I loved this place! The food, especially the soup, was delicous. Beware that the 'gigante' falafel sandwich really is gigantic. They made a great soy chai too. Friendly staff and cosy space.

Fantastic falafel! - Edit
What a treat! Having been disappointed by the other vegetarian eatery in Guanajuato, we tried Habibti for lunch. Lovely little place, friendly staff and absolutely fantastic falafel sandwiches. You can choose your fillings, from basic to gigante. Lots of drinks choices too. Very reasonably priced and very filling. One of the best falafels we have ever had.... And we've had quite a few! A gem for vegans/vegetarians in Guanajuato.

So Disappointed - Edit
After reading prior reviews, I was looking forward to delicious Arabic food. This is below average Middle Eastern at best. the tabbouleh is made with cous cous and not wheat and with little parsley and no flavor. The hummous is simple bean paste with no flavor and no olive oil (it was also served hot). The grape leaves were flavourless and mushy. The falafel was edible but certainly nowhere near good falafel I have had before. Whoever says this is the best ever has certainly not had the pleasure of delicious Arabic food.

Best Middle Eastern food EVER! - Edit
My husband and I both agree that this wasTHEE best combo plate of falafel, hummus, tabbouleh, dolmas, pita (served with 3 very different and delicious types of salsa - one minty, one tahini, one other) that we have ever eaten! Really fresh, flavorful and plentiful!

Falafel in Mexico?? - Edit
Yes, this is good stuff. We just found this place a couple days before leaving town, but have already been twice. The falafels are great, albeit a little more than I'd like to spend ($40), but it's still a great price. It's a nice little spot, just up the road from Cafe Santos (meaty place, but they have a good veggie burger and amazing portobello sandwich).
Read moreTo find Habibti, walk on that ped street that has the little arch with tables on it (Santos Cafe), going from Centro towards Embajadores. When you get to the end where you hit that weird busy road that has traffic driving on the left instead of the right, take a left and it's right there.
It's also close to Cafe Tal, which is further up the road to Embajadores and is a good place to work. Their hot chocolates are incredible, as are their frappés.
Pros: Delicious, Falafel in Mexico
