Fresh, filling, fun food

A lovely menu with many creative options.
Healthy, fresh food served beautifully.
Great flavour, with available seasonings to adjust too.

I hope to go back and try more dishes.

I shared a Rose soy milk hot pot with a friend.
The vegetables and noodles were great. The soup was delicious

Very kind lady working there~

Pros: Delicious , Fresh & healthy, Interesting menu

Delicious and (very) generous portions

Dinner for 3, We ordered 3 main courses and 3 starters and totally over ordered. I think two main courses for 3 people would have already been a lot. But overall delicious with fresh vegetables and fragrant taste. You can taste the attention put into each dish.

Healing dishes cooked to perfection

My AirBnB host took me to this restaurant for an off-menu lunch of turmeric mushroom rice, yuba rolls in broth, seaweed salad, eggplant/yuba/king oyster mushrooms with fried basil, steamed purple cabbage, soft stinky tofu with mushrooms and yuba, and fresh fruit with watermelon sorbet. The owner uses organic, medicinal ingredients (ginseng, mushrooms) and makes her own fragrant chilli oil. The taste was unique and nostalgic at the same time and I rarely notice the difference between organic and GMO veggies, but here the difference in flavour is really noticeable!

Pros: Delicious, organic and medicinal ingredients, Unique takes on traditional dishes, Generous portions

The best in Tainan

Best vegan and organic food in Tainan, perhaps beyond! Take a set main with various small sides and add one bigger side (the mixed mushroom is indefeatable) and you will leave the place very happy and satisfied. The braised tofu with various spices is definitely worth giving a go. Every dish has its own delicate taste and differs from the other. The moderate prices are definitely worth the food!

Pros: Variation, Price/quality, Organic

Overrated review

Kind of disappointed by the overrated review.

Most of the dishes tasted quite the same.

But the handmade dessert was great!

Pros: Fresh ingredient , Friend staff

Cons: Taste rather bland

Nice decour hearty food

It was cute comfortable place.

We got complimentary tea and ordered only two dishes as we heard the portions were big. We got some complimentary starters that seemed to be some fake meat with pickled cabbage which was nice.

Ordered the Korean rice cake which was more a tomato stew with veggies and glutinous globs and very hearty. Also got the Pumpkin curry with Udon noodles which was nice. These came with more side dishes and a miso, tofo seaweed soup which we couldn't finish. The portions were indeed big.

Pros: big portions, comfy cozy seating, very healthy feeling

Cons: Little pricey

Healthy vegan food

We ate here twice and enjoyed their food.
It wasn't my favourite in Taiwan, but it made a nice change to have clean/healthy food rather than greasy/buffet/mock meat etc for one night...!
I tried the pumpkin curry and a vegetable noodle soup. Both were huge portions, so even though expensive you do get a good amount.

Tip- if you are there during the week, go on a weekday afternoon as they do a cheap lunch menu of four/five dishes which is a great price!

Pin is pretty accurate- looking for the big modern wooden door you'll easily spot it!

Wow! Huge servings!!

Well we over ordered a bit but still managed to get through our delicious and clean tasting soups and noodles. Come here if you are hungry and don't mind paying a bit more than usual. The food IS worth it.

Yummy lunch

We had the lunch special (the rest of the menu is still available at lunch).
Both our dishes came with great miso soup.
The dishes were very healthy and not too heavy for lunch, but generous portion sizes. Lots of veges!
They have stinky tofu (local specialty), we are going to go back and try that. Lots of interesting dishes on the menu.
Very good English spoken and a good menu.
Lunch is 11:00 - 2:00
Dinner 5:00 - 9:00
Look for the big wooden door with a cool handle on it (across the road from the pin in the map).

Pros: Yummy
