Well… yes

I tried 6 different things, by European standards it wouldn't pass at all (every roll seemed stale, the dough was hard or there wasn't enough filling), but here I think it's worth a try. The place is cute, the opening hours are a bit strange I’d say (2-6pm).

It must have been the time of day that you tried, because if you go when they first open and the bread is just baked, it's top notch.

Quality desserts and baked goods

I ordered a number of items to go: a matcha ice dessert, passion fruit tart, vegan 'fish egg' mini baguette, chocolate bun, matcha bagel, bread roll with berries, and a potato cheese bun.

Some of the bread is French style and really well made. The cold desserts were truly excellent. My only criticism would be that it is quite expensive for Taiwan.

Perfectly baked breads with Asian flavours

This is a very popular bakery! I arrived 10 minutes before they opened and there was already somebody in line. A queue quickly formed behind me. They only allow one customer inside at a time, so I felt a bit rushed to quickly select items. I tried two flavours of the focaccia, which were the perfect density and chew. The berry crescent was also quite good (texture resembled a bagel) and the roll with taro paste was great too. Their offerings are a very interesting mix of western bread making and Asian flavours/presentation. The quality of the ingredients are worth the price.

Pros: All vegan with a large menu of baked goods, Well made, high quality baked goods, Reasonable cost, friendly service

Cons: Sometimes closed on weekdays, Small space, long queue
