Coffee house offering soy, almond, and oat milks for drinks. Has a bagel with hummus for a savory option. Occasionally has vegan baked goods such as cake or scones.
Has alternative milk and 2 vegan lunch options - Edit
Just stopped in for coffee, but there are 2 specific vegan lunch options on the menu. Oatmeal on the menu and it mentions cream, but not sure if it is cooked with cream. $1 upcharge for plant milk
I enjoyed their Cedar Breaks vegan sandwich on an everything bagel. They also had a vegan salad option as well. They had several plant milk options like oat, almond, and soy. Very pleasant atmosphere and nice outdoor seating.
Normally I wouldn’t be too impressed being from London, but in the desert with nothing else around for hundreds of miles, the few options here were very much appreciated. The 2 sandwiches on offer are very similar & really messy to eat but taste great & are very healthy. The cafe is also really nice with good wifi, service is very good.
Visiting and there were no vegan food options other than a bagel with veggies on it. No baked goods or breakfast items. Coffee can come with soy, almond, and oat milk for coffee.
Ok so they are really trying with signage out front and specific vegan menu to deliver vegan food to a city where there is not much vegan food - the food is very basic, but yeah it’s vegan. I’m impressed they are trying with a specific vegan menu, not just the regular menu with alterations. They also have vegan scones or cookies depending on the day. I think they are trying hard with the vegan market but don’t quite understand vegan food... a bagel with hummus isn’t really a vegan meal, it was good, but not a meal. The raspberry scone was gf and vegan, they served it with butter (on the side so was optional) and it was undercooked - I’ve got to give them credit for their efforts, but they do need to understand vegan food and that it should be tasty as well.
