So many vegan options!

Had the vegan cubano and thought it was fabulous! Cheesecake was good also. Can’t wait to go back and try other menu items :)

Pros: Tons of vegan options- something for everyone, Outside seating

Disappointing

I've been a customer since Greens and Grains first opened, and was thrilled that there was now an all vegan place to get a bite to eat. Unfortunately, I have to say I won't be supporting this business anymore due to the poor customer service by management/owners. I am not one to complain and will readily overlook a bad experience, but be forewarned that you cannot make suggestions without a less than kind response (I was reprimanded online for suggesting that a small cup of tzatziki sauce might be a little lower in price) and to the question, could they possibly offer gluten-free breads? I was dismissed with a short, "no". I get the feeling that customers aren't their priority. Also, the food is mostly very salty (and for me to say that, since I'm always trying to cut back on how much I like salty foods, it is truly salty). I do like some of the staff people, but I suspect the owners/managers aren't customer-service oriented, and because they are literally the only all vegan game in town (not to mention pretty much the entire county), they probably feel they don't have to be. It's a shame because I truly wanted to continue to support not only a vegan place but a small business. Hopefully, they will realize that their customers are the reason they exist and that a little respect goes a long way towards keeping them.

I am no longer supporting them as well, it's been Hit or Miss at certain locations the past few years as far as customer service and the food. The best Greens and Grains location, Vegan menu and service was at Bonzo, and the District Bar at the Exchange in Linwood, NJ, and it was Sad when both closed to move to Philadelphia I'm sorry you were treated in a manner that made you feel uncomfortable. A normal business would appreciate feedback and suggestions , that's how companies grow. A proper way to respond would be with a "Thank you , we appreciate your suggestion, something for our company to think about , and thanks for supporting us over the years " !!

Exactly right! Agree completely. I, too, miss Banzo and the District Bar. It really is a shame that they didn't respond as you suggested--even if they couldn't lower the price, it would have at least been a respectful response.

Great food, bad service and experience. Pricey too. Hope this was an off daylol

The pita with cream cheese was warmed without us asking. Ew! Be sure to clarify if you want it hot! Was very good when I cooled it down.

Employees seemed unhelpful

I bagged my own stuff, weird. They didn’t even have a bag big enough for my trio to go..

They were out of buffalo chickpea salad- but had some in the fridge to go... why didn’t they give us that?

And when they pulled our chicken sandwich wrap (chicken salad) out of the fridge.. it makes you feel some type of way when you’re paying a premium for what you think should be fresh food!

One employee wiped her nose on her hand.. ew.

Pros: All vegan , Juices to go in fridge (quick grab n go!), Delicious

Cons: Employees seem grumpy, Juices in fridge sit in afternoon sun- ew., Don’t go above and beyond for customer

so many options so little time

Something for everyone, adore this spot! Gyro to die for tzatziki second to none. The Cuban is one of the best sandwiches you’ll ever have vegan or not. Believe the hype

Overrated

Food is ok, but not worth 5 or 5 stars unless this is the only vegan restaurant you know of.

Amazing vegan food!

This place has a great atmosphere, but most importantly, the food is amazing. Super simple to order, lots of varieties, and prices aren’t too bad. I got the grains bowl with brown rice and coconut lentil curry with sweet potato, and it was enough to fill me up AND have enough leftovers for another meal! Staff weren’t super enthusiastic or upbeat but did answer any questions I had.

Cafe food, simple and delicious

We stopped by their Northfield, NJ location for lunch since we were nearby, and had a nice meal.

We ordered a grilled cheese panini, a meatball parm pita sandwich, cream of broccoli soup (which we were really happy to find, haven’t had that in so many years) and cheesecake for dessert.

The food was very good, especially the soup. They made the broccoli out of coconut and almond milk, and it tasted awesome.

Definitely a thumbs up. We’ll have to be back in this area next weekend, and are already planning on coming back for lunch here again.

Pros: nice ambiance , average price, nice staff

Best Veg Food in Town!

Greens and Grains has gone above and beyond spreading the cruelty free mission in South Jersey. They offer extensive food, smoothie, bowl and fresh-pressed juice options to please every palate. Reasonably priced considering the portions and quality of the food that is served. Not to mention all FOUR of their locations are clean as can be (which goes a long way for me!). I'll definitely be back time and time again.

Pros: Quick, Clean, Quality

south jersey chain

Acai & pitaya bowls are a hit! Pressed paninis or HUGE salads are filling but you feel great. Love the veggie chili by itself or over rice or quinoa, so clean and delicious! 4 locations in Atlantic County, 100% vegan. Really good kombucha on take home Mason jars.
