Delicious burger - Edit
So good to find a separate vegan menu, especially in a small Border town. Nice choice of brunch / lunch options. I went for the burger and it was so tasty.

Bit pricey and staff don’t get it - Edit
We had an hour to spare so ordered drinks and avo toast. The toast had not arrived 30 mins later and it turned out the chitty hadn’t printed in the kitchen. Then it came with poached egg on the side, and we had to explain to the waitress why this was no good! Eventually it came 50 mins late, and a round of free drinks. In fairness the staff were nice but …. Undeterred we later ordered the cheese platter which for £10.45 is supposed to have a “selection” of cheese. Instead it had 4 lumps of violife. There aren’t many places in this area, so should we be grateful for the options, or put up with late, overpriced food? On the plus side, the Wedding Present were on tour and were sat on the table behind us.

Great stop for lunch - Edit
We found this cafe on Happy Cow. Just one review, but it was very positive. We completely agree! We had the soup sandwich combo. Think we’ll come back.

The separate vegan menu was advertised on the board outside the cafe and every option was simply delicious.
