All u can eat buffet

We enjoyed the all u can eat buffet which is from 6-10p.m. Every day. Price was fair(300tbh) , and there was even dessert and water included. And Vegan options were marked and everything was really tasty. We enjoyed the stay and come back

Edit: now we ate here for the 4th time and yesterday we asked for the great soya masala we had 3 days ago and they managed to offer it at the buffet for our last day here in Ao nang. So many great and nice people around and it is really really tasty. BTW: the naan bread is a dream. Thanks so much for making our stay here easy and tasty Vegan :)

Pros: Delicious meals for great prices, All u can eat, Fair prices

Ate here many times

They have nice western vegan comfort food, the same menu as at Govindas at the beach on Railay.

Nice sandwiches, wraps, smoothies etc

The cafe has very nice decoration.

Nice spot in Ao Nang

My non-veg friend and I decided to try this restaurant upon arriving in Ao Nang. They offered a buffet for 300b per person which was a great value for the quality of food. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The buffet options were mostly vegan with only two dishes being vegetarian.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Good value, Friendly staff

Good place for Ao Nang

Has lots of vegan options. But is pricey and there is a service fee. Portionsize is different - the pad thai portion was great but the lemon rice portion was little for over 100 baht. Would like to try the pumkin pie but they did not have it.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: Pricey, Portionsize will vary, Service fee

Beautiful place to eat!

This place was amazing, fresh food, incredible service and great options for vegans. Perfect for those following a pure vegetarian diet, (no onion or garlic). We tried the buffet, which is incredible value for money if you'd like to try a bit of everything.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Great for no onion of garlic

Bad price/value

You don’t get what you pay for. Food wasn’t flavorful and the size of the dish is very small. For a regular western, you will not be satisfied. The prices are 200-300 THB, so very overpriced for what you get. We left hungry...

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: Small size, Expensive, Could be more tasty

Expensive and bad service

The food is not great , also it is expensive and the service is absolutely ridiculous. Keep in mind that you have to pay 5% service charge as well.

Pros: Roof top tables

Cons: Expensive , Bad service , 5% service charge

Ao nang ( krabi) vegan place

Para mim uma óptima opção vegan, se calhar o único sítio de confiança... Os outro restaurantes tb podem facilitar mas em caso de dúvida, este é o indicado. Thai food vegan 😍 tudo óptimo

Cons: Media 300 Baths

Vegetarian, but have vegan options

It’s probably the only place on Ao Nang for vegans. We enjoyed the buffet which is for 300THB/person and starts at 6 p.m. The buffet has many hot options (including potatoes), water, fruit (watermelon) and even dessert. The rest of the time you can order from the menu, which is vegetarian with vegan options. We loved spring rolls (must try) and rice dishes. Also vegan desserts are just wonderful too. Very welcoming and friendly staff, we went to the restaurant every day, and we felt like home. Although we wish the restaurant was fully vegan or they had a separate vegan menu. Also the food on the buffet wasn’t tagged vegan (we and many others had to ask what food was vegan). Almost all the food is Indian as it’s an Indian restaurant.

Pros: Great buffet after 6 p.m., Good location, Good prices

Cons: Vegan food is not clearly marked, Have to take off your shoes, Hard to find

Nice choices and atmosphere

We are here frequently and I have to say the best thing on the menu is the aloo ghobi curry and the vegan eggplant lasagna. The staff was always friendly. Seating options on table, floor pillows, or balcony. Lots of cute decor and nice bathrooms. Try that lasagna 😻 the prices are okay but for good vegan food I think it’s worth it.

Pros: Lots of options , Kind staff, Nice atmosphere

BUFFET

Big menu, great decor. The soy masala is absolutely top notch.
The buffet is 300 baht and all but one of the choices was vegan. If you’ve had a long day of activity the buffet, although expensive for Asia, is a great way to fill up on protein and get a taste of everything.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Cute decor

Large selection of Indian veggie dishes

They have both vegetarian and vegan options, and it’s well marked in their menu. Excellent selection of tasty Indian dishes. They also sell sweet desserts, but I sadly cannot recommend the muffins, which were very dry.

Tasty food

Me and my girlfriend were there for dinner. We choosed meal from a la carte, not the buffet. The meal was tasty and they packed the left overs for us for no additional cost.

Pros: Tasty food

Cons: Little more expensive, A lot of families, making noise

Great taste!

Not all their food is vegan, but everything is clearly marked. There is one or two vegan options that are made with dairy or butter, according to the menu. So watch out for that, but if you read, you should be fine!! The atmosphere and view overlooking the street is great! The cross breeze in the hot Thai weather is amazing. Their deserts is where the restaurant kind of falls apart. So really there could be worse things to complain about.

Delicious food

I visited here at the end of September after finding the restaurant on Happy Cow, but we loved it so much that we visited 3 different times while we were in Ao Nang. We tried everything from the hot dog and chips to Thai food and Indian curries and it was all really tasty. There's so much on the menu that you can visit more than once and it feels like you are in a different place. The staff were friendly and we really enjoyed getting to know them. Would definitely recommend if you're in Ao Nang.

Pros: Huge variety of food, Friendly staff

Good food

Indian restaurant with simple buffet (300batt) or a la carte dishes. Good food, only a little bit expensive for the Indian cuisine. Very clean and attractive place though!

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: Little bit expensive for Indian food

Good food, bad service

Unfortunately our experience at Govinda’s was overall unpleasant. We were greeted, seated, and ordered an eggplant dish and naan. The waiter seemed upset with us from the beginning even though we took our shoes off and were respectful. He kept giving us what we perceived to be bad looks- and we felt uninvited because of this. He seemed to be extremely unhappy that we only wanted to order 1 main dish and 1 order of the vegan naan between the 2 of us (because of the expense). We did end up ordering the same thing again because it tasted really good. The ladies that brought the food out were very pleasant, but the one guy who greeted us and took our order was definitely not. There is a 5% service charge that I did not expect. The bottom part of the menu mentioned it but it was unclear that it was for everybody, not just during busy times or for dishes that take a long time. We spent 546 baht and weren’t full. This is more than we would spend in the U.S. for this.

Pros: Many vegan options, Tasty!

Cons: Bad service, bad attitude, Small amounts of food, Expensive

Great home style Indian food

The vegetarian restaurant is excellent
The decor is simple but lovely and one feels calm there
The food is delicious with many options including dessert
They cater for both vegetarian and vegan
The vegetarian items contain no eggs
There is no garlic or onions in the food either
A buffet costs about 300 baht and includes 2 large naan breads, salad, 2 types rice and maybe 8-9 curries. Dessert is mini muffins and Kheer, an Indian dessert
There is also an extensive ala carte menu

Pros: Reasonable prices, Huge selection

Amazing food for all

The entrance to this place is a bit hidden away but once you find it you'll be greeted by very kind people in a great environment. They serve vegan and vegetarian food and are always willing and able to guide you to your preferred choices.
Tonight we had their buffet and all the options except for one were vegan, and they were all incredibly delicious Thai and Indian dishes. Honestly anybody would be happy with the food served here.
We left so satisfied and relaxed, and I personally can't wait to go back and try their pastries. The price is most definitely worth the experience and quality.

Pros: Lots of vegan options., Amazing food quality , Friendly service and great environment.

Cons: A little expensive. , Easily missed if you don't look up.

Great food and service

There are so many options! To much i guess for the days we are here. The vegan hotdog, pizza and the buffet were great! The cupcake was nice as well. It is a really nice and chill place. The service was great. The waiter from Birma, Aneal, was really friendly and we had a lovely conversation about veganisme et cetera.

Pros: Many vegan options, Indian Thai Western

Cons: A bit expensive but is is worth it

Good but expensive

The food here is amazing, it’s deffo on the pricer side and you could find cheaper but it’s worth a try. We ended up doing the buffet for 300 baht and you can go up as many times as you want, get free water and there’s dessert options. You can deffo get your moneys worth out of it and the fake chicken tikka masala is to die for!
