Casual Indian restaurant, 5 mins from the seashore - Edit
I found this casual little Indian restaurant gem called Moti Mahal to be a quaint spot on the main strip of Ao Nong. I stumbled upon it on a hot day when I was famished. The staff were so very kind, gentle and cordial. I recommend the vegetable biriyani, which was cooked well with the right amount of spice for my Asian palate. The portion sizes are good here. They also serve Thai food.
Read moreThe other dishes the chef recommended to me with a vegetarian profile are: cheese naan and their selection of naan breads plus mango lassi and masala chai for drinks. Try the gulab jamun for dessert.
I left with some utterly delicious Indian lunch food memories on a hot beach day in Ao Nong. Follow in my foot steps and enjoy. Bon apetite!
