Very local place, all vegetarian. We did not unterstand the menu, so just got something which tasted very good. As well extremely cheap!

Typical pure vegetarian restaurant with the usual options. A few members of the staff here speak English well enough to explain dietary requirements; one even knew what vegan means.
Read moreGood masala dosai, sambol and dal should be dairy free. Most other dishes were not available the few times I visited. Prices are reasonable.

Tasty breakfast of paratha and sambar in Pettah - Edit
Seemingly the only vegan option in the area. The staff were nice and understood vegan requirements (from vegetarian) and were happy to accommodate. Tasty paratha with flavoursome sambar sauce. Very inexpensive

This place was recommended to me by a local. It was a bit of a walk but well worth it. Inexpensive, delicious and attentive staff.
