Read moreMy friend and I were delayed at the airport and we arrived about 20 minutes before close and were afraid we were too late. They were super welcoming and told us not to worry and to take our time. I ordered the BBQ soy sandwich and the greens. My original plan was to get the slaw, but since it was so late they were out. Well that was the best/worst thing to ever happen. I ordered the greens instead and they were so good I have not been able to stop thinking about them since I got home. Buttercup purchased me a smoker because I have been obsessed. Yes these greens are that good!
Pros: Customer Service, Delicious food, Them greens!!!!
Cons: Them greens are addictive

Amazing vegan bbq - Edit
Amazing vegan barbeque and friendly staff. I got the vegan bbq soy curl sandwich and it was great-- perfect smokiness with tangy sauce and cole slaw, and the greens hit the spot as well. The owner (?) came by with some homemade hot sauces for the greens which were fantastic. Will definitely be back for more.

So refreshing for any restaurant, let alone a bbq place, to have well thought out and delicious vegan options that don’t feel like an afterthought! I had the vegan sandwich which was a brioche bun, smoked soy curls, slaw, with a skewered pickled okra holding it all together. I chose the vegan baked beans as my side and my partner had the smoked greens, though they also have fried greens and black eyed peas that are vegan as well. Will have to try the vegan frito pie when we go next time.

The vegan options here are phenomenal! I’ve had the vegan bbq sandwich, the frito pie, the smoked black eyed pea’s and the vegan bbq beans! They’re all so tasty and filling. The black eyed pea’s are absolutely to die for! Best I’ve ever had! There vegan bbq sauce is tasty and sassy just like bbq sauce should be!
